Upon leaving Lowood, Jane takes a position as governess at Thornfield Hall to a girl named Adele. Jane is a plain woman of low social class, but makes the best of her situation. Thornfield holds many secrets and despite mysterious occurrences, Jane and Edward Rochester, owner of Thornfield and Adele's guardian, fall in love. One hopes that Jane will finally discover the happiness which she deserves, but a dark secret comes to light which may just change all of that. (107 minutes - 1971 - Color - 4 3).
