Bought this to listen to a secret recording of my grandparents (long ago since passed) while at a party. It was so nice to hear their voices again and to hear them laugh. This recorder is lightweight (plastic), and unexpectedly provides good, clear audio (even on old cassette tapes).

Really good quality cassette recorder. Originally I was looking for radio shack cassette recorder, unfortunately they're going out of business. A fellow that worked at RadioShack suggested that I get the Jenson ,and to get it at Best Buy. I had searched on Amazon for good reliable tape recorders earlier. I was shocked! They were very expensive. Many over $100. And without any warranty. And with poor reviews. So, I felt lucky to be able to chat with that former RadioShack employee. And I called a Best Buy. I ordered the cassette recorder online. The customer service rep was very helpful. He answered all my questions. And did so with a pleasant demeanor. The cassette recorder we ship by mail. It arrived promptly. It was well packaged. I've been using it continually since. I also purchased the two year warranty. I like the idea that the geek squad, would come by and fix or replace it if it malfunctioned. Two years is a long Time. And honestly, I use it a lot. So far I'm very satisfied. It comes with Mike. Which I use.

I purchased this cassette player to listen to interviews of my elderly relatives experiences during WWII. The player was a great price, had good quality sound for listening to voices, and was easy to use.

The item cassette recorder I bought is ok very handy I can take it anywhere I wish they have smaller than this one and I can get it

This cassette player/recorder came with a built-in microphone, a wired microphone, and AC adapter. I tried other cassette players/recorders but they needed separate purchase wired microphones and AC adapters. excellent quality in a cassette player/recorder. Delivered recordings with nice fidelity and minimum noise.
