Great Buy for the Price!
I used to own a Yamaha Studio Lord LP copy, which was
a great guitar - probably why there was a copyright infringement lawsuit - and the Jay
Turser LP copy I got from Best Buy a few days ago is very comparable. However, the guitar
straight out of the box was not set up. Or, it was set up improperly. The neck was bowed
into a concave arch, and the bridge wasn't set up for harmonics. I went online and figured
out how to set the guitar up out of the box by watching a few videos. Now the action is
good, and the guitar stays in tune without having to fiddle with it all the time. I agree that
the weakest part of the product is the bridge. It's not exactly a precision piece... there
could be a lot less play and tolerance. One thing that bothers me: Like I said before, The
neck was bowed into a concave arch. When adjusting the truss rod, I found that the thing
was tightened almost to its limit. If I had attempted to tighten it any further, I would have
stripped out the threads on the rod or cracked the neck. Instead, I loosened rod tension by
turning the allen wrench counterclockwise (Looking from the body towards the machine
heads). This seemed to be in reverse of everything I read (Supposedly, it should have been
clockwise to loosen.) When I did loosen the rod, the neck straightened right out. It was the
exact opposite of the way it should have worked.
Anyway, It's a great buy for the modest price.

Great guitar
Great guitar. Only downfall is that it comes with nothing. No pik, no strap, no manual. Only cord and Allan key for adjusting. Other than that it is a great guitar. Looks great! Sound is good. Way better overall than I was expecting. Looks and feels like a thousand dollar guitar.
I love every aspect about this guitar it is beautiful both in quality and sounds. just floors me that it is so cheap. It is better than any $1000 epiphone I have played, hands down, no contest.
