Jazz Sabbath - Jazz Sabbath Live - CASSETTES

Jazz Sabbath (1968) were considered to be at the forefront of the new English jazz movement. Their self-titled debut album would be released on 13 Feb 1970, but on Feb 12th founding member and pianist Milton Keanes was hospitalised with a massive heart attack; leaving him fighting for his life. The record company shelved the album and cancelled the scheduled out of financial uncertainty of releasing a debut album from a band without it's musical leader. When Milton was released from hospital in September 1970, he found out that a band from Birmingham, conveniently called 'Black Sabbath', had since released two albums containing so-called metal versions of his songs. His recalled albums had been destroyed in a warehouse fire in June 1970; leaving only a few bootleg tapes of Jazz Sabbath's live performances as proof of existence. The master tapes, believed to be lost in the fire, were found last year. These songs will now finally be heard; proving that the heavy metal band worshipped by millions are in fact nothing more than musical charlatans, thieving the music from a bedridden, hospitalised genius. Basic and raw with just an upright bass, drums and a grand piano. Going where the songs take them; not knowing if Paranoid would be 6 minutes long or 14.Tracklist Disc 11 Black Sabbath2 The Wizard3 War Pigs4 Behind the Wall of Sleep5 Iron Man6 Fairies Wear BootsDisc 21 Hole in the Sky2 Paranoid3 Into the Void4 Rat Salad5 Children of the Grave Album Tracks 1. The classic debut studio album by Broken Bones, the ex-Discharge speed-metal punk band, who influenced Metallica and an army of other hard-core punk bands.Broken Bones were formed in 1983 by the Discharge twin brothers of Bones (guitar) and Tezz (bass) and were joined by Baz (drums) and Nobby (vocals). From the 'Potteries' area, Stoke-On-Trent, they first produced two singles, Decapitated and Crucifix, followed by this album 'Dem Bones' - all fast and furious anthems and UK indie chart Top 10 entries. The album, originally released in 1984, was produced by Clay Records' Mike Stone who had also produced Discharge. Along the way, band membership developed, but always featuring the distinctive guitar of Bones. Tezz later went to the USA, where he played with UK Subs, Ministry, and many others. Both brothers are currently in a reformed Discharge. Album Tracks 1. Wealth Rules 2. Who's to Blame 3. Iron Maiden 4. Their Living Is My Death 5. Big Hard Man 6. Terrist Attack 7. Stand Up 8.
