What is the decibel reduction for the noise canceling function? Can they be used at the shooting range in lieu of my bulky uncomfortable over the ear headset?

I have issues can these be used as assisted hearing devices?
Answered by SatisfiedCustomerThey don't claim to be assisted hearing devices like the OTC hearing aids or some of the claims the Airpods make, but I will say that I wear them throughout the day and they do seemingly really well canceling out background noise when I'm having conversation with people and I struggle to hear people with deep voices. These have seemed to take care of that problem for me. I also noticed that when I'm driving in the car on the highway and would normally struggle to hear people talking, they seem to cut out most of that road noise. I don't know if they are designed or even claim to do that, but I'm sold on them. I would recommend them if you can afford them and depending on how bad your hearing loss is. Hope this helps!
So can this act as your phone if you forgot your phone at home???
Answered by SatisfiedCustomerNo, they have to be within 30 feet to stay connected via bluetooth. But I've been a little further away than that and still stayed connected just fine.
