Brand new 1/72 scale diecast model of F-15DJ JASDF (Japan Air Self-Defense Force) Eagle Fighter Aircraft "23rd Fighter Training Group 20th Anniversary" by JC Wings, limited edition to 600 pieces worldwide. This model comes in a brand new box and features a detailed exterior, true-to-scale detail, and is an officially licensed product. It includes missile accessories and does not have any openings. Made of diecast metal and plastic for durability and a heavy, realistic feel, it has realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels, and surface details for an authentic representation. Dimensions are approximately Length-10.75, Wingspan-7.25 inches. The Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), responsible for the defense of Japanese airspace and other air and space operations, cyberwarfare, and electronic warfare, operates about 740 aircraft, approximately 330 of them being fighter aircraft. In the 1980s, the JASDF introduced the Mitsubishi F-15J to replace the older F-104 and F-4 aircraft. On December 17, 1981, the squadron became the first in the JASDF to operate the F-15 as the “Provisional F-15J Squadron.” From 1984 to 2000, it combined both training and interceptor roles and participated in exercises including Cope North 1985-4. It was later replaced by the 23rd Flying Training Squadron, which formed immediately after the 202nd squadron was disbanded.
