About this product
Limited seafoam colored vinyl LP pressing comes packaged in wide spine jacket with printed inner sleeve. Includes digital download. No Dream is the fourth full-length from Jeff Rosenstock. It comes at a time of unparalleled chaos and confusion, division and despair, the depths of which would have been impossible to predict when much of it was being written over the course of the last few years. And yet the record feels prescient, unexpectedly and uniquely suited for this moment. After building a devoted cult following with the acerbic ska-punk of the Arrogant Sons of Bi**hes, the DIY heroics of Bomb the Music Industry!, and three increasingly celebrated solo albums, No Dream arrives with an entirely new set of expectations in an entirely new era. Album Tracks 1. No Time 2. Nikes (Alt) 3. Scram! 4. N O D R E a M 5. State Line 6. F a M E 7. Leave It in the Sun 8. The Beauty of Breathing 9. Old Crap 10. *BNB 11. Monday at the Beach 12. The Dirty Streets - Rough And Tumble [VINYL LP] Colored Vinyl, Ltd Ed, Yellow date 04/30/2021
Limited clear dark teal vinyl. Includes digital download and poster. Jeff Rosenstock was an anxious kid who grew into an anxious adult and has also made a bunch of music along the way, with a bunch of bands, most notably Bomb the Music Industry! Who apparently pioneered giving S**t away for free on the internet - or at least got some of the credit for it. Now he plays with his bi-coastal band of rad musicians, mixing punk energy with diverse instrumentation and occasional accuracy. The new record Post- was written in the days after the 2017 Presidential inauguration, recorded in a marathon session and finished moments before it was released on New Year's Day. The lyrics get (really) heavy but the melodies are so catchy and the builds are so big and bright that the end result is more of a rallying cry than a surrender.
On Jeff Rosenstock's new album, HELLMODE, the spontaneous DIY trailblazer returns with the most confident & cohesive album of his career. Recorded at EastWest Studios with Grammy nominated engineer Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Joyce Manor) and captured live to tape in the same room where albums like Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere and Toxicity were recorded, HELLMODE finds Rosenstock holding nothing back. The studio's infamous natural tones are juxtaposed with echo chambers used on Pet Sounds, calling to mind the mixture of despair and clear-eyed hope heard throughout the record. The album features massive pop gems like InchFUTURE IS DUMB,Inch InchDOUBT,Inch and InchLIKED U BETTER,Inch as well as softer songs such as InchHEALMODE,Inch showcasing an intimate, immediate sound. Rosenstock has built his career on an uncompromising commitment to stay true to his beliefs. He's toured the globe countless times and played to thousands of dedicated fans. In addition to the vast critical acclaim he's received from places like Pitchfork, The NY Times, NPR and others, Jeff's work can be heard scoring the Cartoon Network series Craig of the Creek, which was nominated for multiple awards, including 2 Emmys. He's performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers & The Chris Gethard Show as well as numerous music festivals across the world, including Pitchfork Music Festival, Noise Pop, Riot Fest, and more. HELLMODE is yet another exciting glimpse into Rosenstock's powerful and emotionally resonant music, making him one of the most mesmerizing songwriters of the last decade. Album Tracks 1. Will U Still U 2. Head 3. Liked U Better 4. Doubt 5. Future Is Dumb 6. Soft Living 7. Healmode 8. Life Admin 9. I Wanna Be Wrong 10. Graveyard Song 11. 3 Summers
