Jeff Russo continues his decades-long collaboration with Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion, Lucy in the Sky) with a chameleonic skill and precision. Tackling the massive world of the Alien series as it literally crashes down onto Earth, creating a brand new sonic world in the aftermath. Equal parts haunting and hypnotic, the soundtrack pays polite homage to the maestro Jerry Goldsmith while existing wholly on it's own.
