Jets to Brazil - Orange Rhyming Dictionary - VINYL LP

Vinyl LP repressing. Initially released in 1952 as a 10Inch LP, this best-selling album was expanded to 12 tracks and released as a vinyl LP in 1954. Unforgettable is a collection of some of Nat King Cole's earliest recordings, including a track from The Nat King Cole Trio. The title has long since been out of print in the vinyl . Nat King Cole first came to prominence as a leading jazz pianist. He was widely noted for his soft baritone voice, performing in big band and jazz genres, and was a major force in popular music for three decades. Cole was one of the first African Americans to host a national television variety show, The Nat King Cole Show. His recordings remained popular worldwide after his death from lung cancer in February 1965.

Wisecrack is the sophomore album from Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Haley Blais. Conceived as a conceptual record about the formation of new families amidst the dissolution of her parents' relationship, Wisecrack is textured and wryly poetic, oscillating somewhere between cherished childhood memories and the creation of a new self. The existential, everyday worries we all contain but rarely share are laid bare across eleven songs deftly performed with grace, profundity, and humor. Available on vinyl with download card included.

Limited edition double 180gm LP pressing. Along with adding former Van Pelt guitarist Brian Maryansky to the fold, Jets to Brazil (featuring Jawbreaker frontman Blake Schwarzenbach, Handsome vocalist/guitarist Jeremy Chatelain and Texas Is the Reason drummer Chris Daly) added dimension, savoir faire, and one hell of a grand piano to forge ahead with a breathtaking new direction on their jaw dropping 2000 album Four Cornered Night - encapsulating classic American rock 'n' roll with a nod to the Mods underneath a matchless lyrical gift. Jets to Brazil vinyl has been out of print since their original pressings and is in high demand. The good news is the band's three classic LPs - Orange Rhyming Dictionary (1998), Four Cornered Night (2000) and Perfecting Loneliness (2002) - are finally being reissued.
