About this product
I began doing community theatre, and quickly realized that acting is what I wanted to dedicate my life to, eventually moving to Los Angeles to pursue my craft full-time.It wasnt long before I booked my first acting job on Ugly Betty, which was especially exciting since the show was adapted from a telenovela by a writer from my hometown of Miami. That's when I got my SAG card, and my professional journey really began. Some of my notable credits in film and television now include roles on Westworld, Doom Patrol, NCIS New Orleans, Capone, Bones, and the Sony / Netflix action film Sniper G.R.I.T.Because my roots emanate from musical theatre, it only made sense that I would eventually reintegrate singing into my offering. Like for so many, the pandemic provided me with the time and space to dive deep into my inner world and process unresolved storylines within my consciousness. What I discovered was that when I really leaned in and listened, the quietest voice inside was actually the loudest, and she was screaming to be heard. What resulted was the birth of my debut album, Burn The Tapes, which is currently available on all streaming platforms

Based in Ottawa, Ontario, the capital city of Canada, The Riptides have been cranking out high-energy blasts of melodic, poppy punk rock for over 25 years. With their new LP Burn After Listening, the band makes the move to Pirates Press Records, and are ready to bring their sound to an all new worldwide audience! Blending attitude-driven downstroke riffs with irresistible hooks and harmonies, combined with an aesthetic informed by everything from nerdy pop culture and surfing, they've already amassed quite the following across the decades, but this record stands poised to introduce them to many new fans. Ultimately, Bob Goblin believes it is a strong representation of the band for newcomers. InchWe've always loved fast, aggressive songs, but never shied away from the poppier stuff either,Inch he says. InchI can't stand boring records where every song sounds exactly the same from top to bottom.Inch He also believes that longtime fans will be equally pleased with what they hear. InchThey'll get it. Our DNA from past records is all over this one.Inch
