Return to Forever was a jazz fusion group founded and led by pianist Chick Corea. Through it's existence, the band had many members, with the only consistent bandmate of Corea's being bassist Stanley Clarke. Several musicians, including Clarke, Flora Purim, Airto Moreira and Al Di Meola, first came to prominence through their performances on Return to Forever albums. Along with Weather Report and Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return to Forever is often cited as one of the core groups of the jazz-fusion movement of the 1970s. Return to Forever disbanded in 1977 after five years and seven studio albums. The band never released another studio album, but occasionally reunited for live performances until Corea's death in 2021. Hymn Of The Seventh Galaxy released in 1973 was their third studio album. Album Tracks 1. Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy 2. After the Cosmic Rain 3. Captain Señor Mouse 4. Theme to the Mothership 5. Space Circus Parts 1 & 2 6. The Game Maker

Jackson collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Rod Temperton. Five singles were released from the album. It was his first solo under Epic Records, the tag he would record on until his death roughly 30 years later. Album Tracks 1. Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough 2. Rock with You 3.
