Serendipitous find
I have owned a JOBY Gorilla Pod (magnetic) for several years and gotten much use out of it with my Canon S90. It was a practical purchase and worth every penny I spent for it. But over the years the photographic prowess of mobile phones has improved exponentially, so I hoped I could find an adapter that would allow me to extend the life of my Gorilla Pod as I migrated away from my point-and-shoot. Lo and behold I stumbled upon the JOBY - GripTight ONE Mount for Mobile Phones while killing some time at Best Buy! This mount is exactly what I wanted and was a no-brainer purchase. It easily holds my iPhone XS Max securely with its spring-loaded grips even with its Apple silicone case in place. And the adapter folds down to take up minimal space when not in use.

Selfies without a stick!
I already had the Roby small tripod so this was the next step took some great pictures of the two of us on our last trip with my IPhone clamped in. One the tripod gripping the top of a post to take a vertical picture.

Sleek but not so sure sturdy
I’ve tried a lot of tripod phone holders, and I’m sad to say this one isn’t my favorite. The positives; it’s sleek, folds up easily to avoid breaking, and expands to hold phone. Cons: when I set it to the portrait mode, it rolls over from the weight of the phone! It’s extremely frustrating as it shouldn’t do this. (See the 2 pics as the phone has rolled to that spot). It’s also pricy for this. I feel its not worth the price. Other than that, I like the slim & collapsible feature of this holder. Perhaps u have a better experience. Still worth a try. Hope it works better for you.

Decent phone mount, even for larger phones.
Using this with a Note 8 and a slim case, it just barely fits. It does hold the phone securely though. Folds flat to take up minimal space in my pack or camera bag.

Great for travel
Small and compact mobile adapter for a standard tripod. Easy to set up and very compact to carry. Lightweight too. I have a galaxy S20 that fits with the cover on. Except for the huge phones, I think there shouldn’t be a problem fitting any phones. Great addition to my travel kit.

I need an iPhone holder to attach to my tripod that I can extend outward to hang over a table to fotograph pictures that are laid out on a table. What other attachment do I need for an extension? Would a selfie stick have any such attachment? Help!
I bought a Gimbal from FreeVisiom Vital M Pro that can attach to you tripod or itself and has wifi charging and it follows and etc., pls search either in Google or From Office Dept good luck

With the phone protector case the thickness is a bit over 1/2" Will the clamp on this JOBY - GripTight ONE Mount for Mobile Phones fit over the case to hold my phone snug?
I have a Note 10 and cannot use this unless I remove the case.

My tripod requires the mount to be screwed in to attach. Does this model snap into typical tripods or is it screwed in?
It screws into the tripod, which makes for more stable usage.

Will this hold an iphone 11 upright?
No. The grip doesn't stretch enough for a vertical placement, just horizontal.
