I own a Manfrotto monopod (made in Italy), and I have been a fan of their build quality. Joby has tripods made in China and Italy (not sure if they have other locations). This one in particular is made in Italy. Since I have been a Manfrotto fan, I decided to buy this one. It is amazing. Actually, it feels a lot like the Manfrotto that I purchased a while back. Pros: 1) Extends to 62.9 inches 2) Max weight load of 17.6 lbs 3) Tripod allows the camera to be up and upside down 4) Sturdy, well balanced, nice grip. 5) Carrying case included 6) Adapter for quick release for the camera 7) Made in Italy 8) Light weight. It weights 3.73 lbs. Cons: 1) Some tripods have the option to transform into a monopod. This one does not have that capability. 2) Price. There are cheaper options out there. For me, this is so well built plus it has a nice feel, so I paid the price. Would I buy this particular one again made in Italy? Answer: Absolutely!

I bought this tripod specifically for the base. I appreciate the strength of the legs, too, because I was looking for something to hold my camera securely and have confidence that it wouldn't tilt over. This tripod was the perfect item to buy for that purpose.

I have used about 3 months now and have no complaint. This tripod for my Canon RP camera. This works great and strong and is very easy to adjust.

I have owned this tripod for over a year and it looks amazing. It is defintely the kinda tripod that would grab attention. The problem is that the leg tends to jam where you cant close it. I reccomend being a BestBuy Totaltech member before purchasing because you might need to make an exchange.

I bought this for my DSLR and am loving it so far. Seems very sturdy and I'm really liking it so far. The only complaint I may have is it doesn't have a handle for pan shots. I don't have an issue with this for my style of shooting but something to take into consideration.

Used it for a while and it’s become second nature already when adjusting for the shot. Takes absolutely no time at all to set up and stows itself away in a very compact form. Easy to take around and travel with

I love this tripod! It’s SO customizable and has levels to measure angles. Very portable, solidly built, and came with an attachment for my camera and my phone. I use it for content creation for work with both my Canon 6D and iPhone 13 Pro. It holds up the Canon and my heavier lenses no problem. I used to have a Manfrotto tripod, but it didn’t support an L bracket. I bought this tripod with the intention to get an L bracket for vertical shots, but the tripod has a built in drop that supports vertical shooting! Was a wonderful surprise and can’t recommend this tripod enough. It was expensive, but it was well worth the splurge especially after using the Manfrotto for 6 years.

While it is too thin and light for hard work, it is designed well, and travels well.

The RangePod tripod is a fairly good item. It is lightweight and has a fair price. The downside of the item is that rather than having flip locks on the legs, they have to be screwed and unscrewed in order to lengthen or shorten them. It is more time consuming and the threads are more likely to need frequent cleaning (to stay effective) if you place the tripod in a sandy soil. Additionally the camera will drift slightly downward when in a locked position if the camera is heavy (such as with a telephoto lens).

This product is pretty great. I wish it had a feature to where I could flip the connecting part upside down so I could have low ground shots on a tripod. Other wise very sturdy and of quality, since this is my first 3 figure tripod purchase I can’t compare to others but I feel as though it’s not something to “ break the bank” for if you can find a nice $20-$75 ranged one

This is very sturdy and secure for holding my canon lens! It allows you to maneuver the camera in many directions with ease of use of a few knobs. It is also lightweight and easy to care with my caemra bag.

This product is well designed and easy to use in any type of shoot. I HIGHLY recommend this tripod. And the price is fairly reasonable with the type of materials use for this kind of tripod.

Love it! There's not too much more to say -- it's nice and solid, and holds my camera (Nikon Z50) really well. Also folds up and stores in the handy bag that comes with it,, really easily.

It's been a year. I'm super happy with it. It's sturdy, easy to use and portable. It's heavy for backpack compare to super light ones, which cost me too much. For this price this quality is a good-buy!

My girlfriend is an artist and I was looking for the sturdiest, outdoorsiest and user friendly tripod available for plein air paintings - this was the right choice. I used the quick connect plate that comes with it to attach a guerilla painter plein air painting box, filled with paint, brushes etc. to the top of it with no issues. She has used it on flat surfaces, softer sand, rocky mountains and more with no issues. This tripod (according to the specs) can support 2-3x the weight of other comparable models. I was impressed, she was happy and I am glad that I did my research.

This tripod worked great for my camera, which weighs about 6 lbs with lens, and with no ring mount, I was worried the camera would sag. No movement at all, shots came out great! It’s also compact and lightweight. I’m no professional but for what we used it for, it is definitely worth the money.

Like many, I have made the mistake of buying a cheap tripod to use with a camera ,only to use it once and take it back to the store for a refund. Not all tripods are equal and cameras cost too much to trust cheap equipment. This tripod is a game changer. It is sturdy, rated to hold a 22lb camera and lens, and feels like a professional tripod. Best peace of mind and performance $150 can buy

It’s not the best tripod I’ve used, but on clearance and open box, you’d be hard pressed to beat the price to performance. Full retail at $150 it isnt worth it. Clearance at $100 is decent. Open box clearance at $50 is a great value.
