About this product
Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Joe Henderson had fully hit his stride by the time he made Inner Urge, his fourth album for Blue Note, recorded in November 1964. Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series is all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes.

Floð og Fjara is Gulli Gudmundsson's new project. The Icelandic bassist has been a cornerstone of the Dutch jazz scene for many years. His new trio has a chamber music-inspired setup. With pianist Jeroen van Vliet and trumpeter Koen Smits, he has found two musicians who share his pursuit of similar sound ideals.

Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. While Joe Henderson seemed to arrive fully formed on his auspicious 1963 debut Page One, the album was really a showcase for the transcendent collaboration between the tenor saxophonist and trumpeter Kenny Dorham who would form a potent frontline team on numerous classics. Opens with a pair of indelible Dorham compositions (Blue Bossa/La Mesha), the 6-song set penned by Henderson includes InchRecorda-Me.Inch
