Swedish gothic doom entity Draconian is finally back! Their new studio album, In Somnolent Ruin, will creep it's way from the artist's spirit into the light of day on May 8, 2026 via Napalm Records. This promises to be one of the most personal records in the band's discography, revealed through a dreamlike journey across nine tracks and the poetic lyricism of vocalist Anders Jacobsson. As a recurring theme, Draconian explore Plato's theory of the soul - an element that was not planned from the very beginning, but instead emerged organically during the creation of In Somnolent Ruin.

This is Cullman's first fully cooperative album with longtime friend and collaborator Jimi Zhivago (Glen Hansard, Ollabelle). Many of the songs were assembled during writing sessions where the two of them played ideas off one another, working through melodies and rhythms until the pieces were fully in sync. Zhivago was crucial in helping to shape eclectic sounds to Cullman's lyrics & melodies // Since recording his last album, The Opposite of Time, Cullman has been back and forth to Lisbon, recording and performing as part of Rua Das Pretas, a loose and ever-shifting group of Brazilian, Portuguese and international musicians dragging fado & bossa into the future, as well as into the nearest tavern. Cullman also composed music for the upcoming film The Bay of Silence, starring Brian Cox & Claes Bang, and continues to write regularly for The Paris Review. And all of these elements, the travel and the homecoming, the poetry of the streets and the thunder in the distance found their way into the songs and the sound.

Live At Evolution is a companion piece of sorts to Philip Selway's recent released album, Strange Dance. This superb new live recording features Selway collaborating with celebrated string quartet, Elysian Collective, and percussionist Chris Vatalaro, to reimagine his songs in a slimmed-down setting. Commenting on the album Selway says InchI originally brought this ensemble together to play at the launch event for Strange Dance, as I felt this combination of string quartet and percussion, together with my vocals, piano and guitar would be a compact way to capture the scope of the varied musical textures on the album. I was so made up with how it sounded and how it reframed the songs, that I wanted to capture this dynamic in a recording.Inch As well as songs from Strange Dance, there is also a version one of his soundtrack pieces, InchPeople Of The SeaInch as well as a track called InchSong For UsInch - written as a pitch piece for a TV show.
