About this product
Twenty years of writing and performing award-winning blues is a significant career milestone for anyone, but for John Németh it represents so much more. Having emerged from a debilitating case of infectious arthritis in 2019 with the material for his Stronger Than Strong (October 2020) album, only to be knocked back down again and grounded by a global pandemic; then receiving a new diagnosis of a benign but aggressive tumor which required amputation of his lower jaw; all combined as the catalyst for a series of outstanding performances during Németh's Spring 2022 tour. This live recording captures the last show on the tour, described by venue owner William Hurley as Inchone of the most electric shows we've ever hostedInch at The Fallout Shelter, and a perfect commemoration of the strength and determination of one of today's most dynamic contemporary blues artists.

Mansur is the newly initiated project by Jason Kohnen (ex-The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble) joined by Dimitry El-Demerdashi (ex-Phurpa) and introducing Martina Hórvath on vocals. The sound of Mansur navigates between the waters of musical fantasy and reality - it morphs and blends traditional instrumentation with modern day electronica.Horváth, El-Demerdashi and Köhnen return to their otherworldly worldbuilding with their debut album 'Karma' on Denovali. Mansur leads the listener into mystical and magical unknowns, that lie far past the realms of material perception. As astronomer Carl Saga once wrote InchSomewhere, something incredible is waiting to be knownInch. Universal lessons of life, brought by teachings and teachers of ages. Unimaginary worlds in all our capacities of being created. Mansur is the transformational vessel guiding you to these non-physical realms. The realms you seek are already there, it's up to you to find them.1. Aurelius 4 532. Temple II [Sympatheia] 4 163. Slugger, the debut LP from Sad13 a.k.a. Sadie Dupuis, prioritizes self-possession in every sense. Sadie, who fronts the dynamite grunge-pop band Speedy Ortiz, forewent her usual modes of collaboration on Slugger, writing and producing the record herself-Inchto exorcise my control-freaky demons,Inch she says. Slugger-produced by Dupuis, mixed by Gabe Wax (Beirut, Wye Oak, Boots) and mastered by Emily Lazar (Sia, HAIM, Sky Ferreira)-is less rock-principled than Sadie's other projects, but the talented guitarist makes intelligent work of her instrument throughout the record. The guitar lines are layered with synth melodies written on her laptop and are, occasionally, joined by live drums from Julian Fader (currently of Ava Luna; formerly bandmates with Sadie in Quilty).
