John Travolta - Travolta Fever - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

A Product of the '80s InchBlock To BlockInch(1981), the breakthrough album by and debutalbum by Noregian/Polish new wave cult heroes de Press (Andrej Nebb, Ola Snortheim and Jørn Christensen). Like it's sucessor, InchProductInch, the album was produced by John Leckie and de Press. Both albums are now being re-released by Apollon Records on vinyl and CD. What is it about these two records? They still sound like nothing else from the Norwegian music scene. Both albums were on par with anything from the wider world, and this in a time were international New Wave and Post Punk classics were being released on an almost weekly basis. They encapsulate the sound of an entire era and may mirror the contemporary zeitgeist of it's time so brilliantly that we still see ourselves in them. InchBlock To BlockInch is widely regarded to be one of the best ever rock albums by an Norwegian band. 1. Kalhoz2. Block To Block3. Kic Me Rusia4. Dobl Steyshen5. Kejk6. Velvet Walz7. Peyshens8. 2007 . Sean's fifth , marks the first time Hayes has ever recorded in a studio. Basic tracks, overdubs and mixing all happened in the same room where Van Morrison, Santana, the Grateful Dead, Credence Clearwater Revival and many others made magic in the 60's and 70's. Most of the album was recorded live in the studio. Hayes authored all 13 songs, whose arrangements and melodies span the gamut from raucously hip-quaking to tenderly heart-breaking - and leave you humming along for days. To help bring Flowering Spade to life, Hayes called in amazing players like Ches Smith, Shahzad Ismaily, Devin Hoff, Todd Roper, Ara Anderson, Rob Reich, and David Boyce from the avant-garde jazz and post-rock scenes of NYC, LA and San Francisco. Combined, they've played with the likes of Marc Ribot's Ceramic Dog, Nels Cline Singers, Xui Xui, Cake, Tom Waits, Tin Hat, OK GO, Gaucho and Broun Fellinis.

Fresh off the success of the disco inspired hit movie, Saturday Night Fever, the lead actor John Travolta recorded a couple of disco albums that were well received. Presented here is 1976's self titled debut which included Neil Sedaka's InchI Don't Know What I Like About You,Inch and Eric Carmen's InchNever Gonna Fall in Love Again.Inch All selections newly re-mastered.
