Jojo Martin - Temporary Tears - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Self-titled, the fourth long-player by the Anointed has been referred to by those in the trio's camp as their Inchdream record,Inch made silky-smooth by an all-star group of wish-list producers including Keith Crouch and Tony Rich. While hardly breaking new ground, and a little saccharine for some tastes, Anointed witnesses to the faithful in a slicked-up eclecticism that will appeal to the most secular R&B pop fans. InchSomething's MissingInch is a sensual ballad firmly grounded by spiritual ideals. InchOoh BabyInch is a dance-inflected harmony anthem underscored with a fat bass-delay beat. InchTake It Easy,Inch a funked-up, whirling R&B number, features the skitter-scat showboating of Steve Crawford on lead vocals. Most insightfully infectious, however, are the opening and closing numbers-the unadulterated disco-gospel joy of the album version of InchRevive UsInch (there are two alternate cuts not featured here) and the soulful optimism of the eminently singable InchAnything Is Possible.Inch

The Dichter Trio takes us on an imaginary visit to one of the most iconic couples in 19th-century Germany the home of Robert and Clara Schumann, enlivened by their artistic, musical, and personal exuberance. Bach was one of their models; Gade, Kirchner, and Brahms their protégés; and Felix Mendelssohn-a close friend. This immersive look at their music-making that tells us more than a shelf full of books.

The first song released from the project InchWorst (I Assume)Inch explores how toxic thoughts + negative patterns can easily turn into toxic behavior, how the past can sometimes seep into your present as a self-defense mechanism, and how oftentimes the wrong assumption can cause pain & suffering. Trying not to think about it is InchcapsuleInch collection because it's a time capsule and honest depiction into where Jojo was at the end of 2020 - a time when fear was creeping in and informing the way she viewed and how she perceived her reality. One of the central themes of the project is feeling trapped inside your own mind and the thoughts/feelings/emotions that can come from that. In addition to songs about romantic love, the project explores the love of self
