I loved this game on the PS3 for many years and am finally happy to have it on current gen with fantastic upgrades. This is a amazing anime fighterbthat should not be skipped. Also the whole thing is a Jojo reference.

So far I like what I see. I’ve got some learning to do. Both with the fighting styles and learning the source material. Art style is well done.

This was worth the money. I only spent $25 on it and I already love the gameplay. It's worth it if you love the JJBA series.

If you like the anime you might like the game too. It’s a good remaster of the PS3 game.

The game can be said to be well worth the buy if you have seen the anime in its entirety. Why? Because with the 50-something characters you will definitely want to know the backstory as the game has no story mode.

This game originally released on PS3, with the physical release being Amazon exclusive funnily enough. Due to this, the game was never really destined to flourish the first time around outside of Japan. This is a fighting game, with elements similar to Soulcalibur in terms of movement. You can move back and forward, jump and duck, but you also have a sidestep that lets you avoid attacks. There are multiple character types in the game, reflecting the styles present in the manga and anime. You have Hamon style, Stand users, Steel Ball and Vampire type to name a few of them. Some characters also mix and match styles, such as DIO, being a hybrid Vampire/Stand character. Out of all of the styles however, I’d say that the most prevalent would be Stand users, considering their prominence in the manga and anime. The game has a story mode that roughly tells the stories of each arc in a similar fashion to most fighting game stories: Static character key art, text on a screen and then a fight. It’s pretty standard but does a decent enough job at putting you through the general story beats. The sound and visual designs are amazing. Pretty much everyone is voiced by their original Japanese VA and the sound effects during fights are accented by text just like in the source media. Each character ends up looking amazing as the style of the game matches closely with the manga style, but with the anime colors usually. There are 10 new characters as well as the DLC from the PS3 version of the game, which brings the total count to 51 characters spanning all eight arcs of the series. I’m not super sure how this game will pan out competitively, but I think there’s some neat mechanics and it’s fun enough for a casual romp with your favorite characters.

Me and my friends had a great time playing this. Brought us back to the days we played HOF before JoJo really took off.

Very fun fighting game. It’s a bit hard to learn at first, but is addictive when you get the hang of it. Was in great condition and easy to pick up. Would recommend to anyone who’s a fan of Jojo’s and fighting games.
