About this product
Born out of a profound desire to explore the depths of the human heart and reconnect with each other after a pandemic-induced hiatus, Chrysalism marks a departure into an unmistakably pop-forward territory. It's evocative title refers to the feeling of tranquility that comes with being indoors during a thunderstorm, privy to the drama while remaining somewhat removed and untouched. With enthralling vocal harmonies, synth-led music and melodic guitar riffs, the pair explores topics like love, longing and heartbreak from a decidedly more mature perspective, no longer choosing to see themselves as victims of circumstances but rather actors in the storyline of their love lives. Composed and recorded with the help of Micah Jasper (ELIO, Rebecca Black, Slayyyter), a Los Angeles-based producer who shares the duo's pop sensibilities and references, Chrysalism is a poignant reflection of what it feels like to grow older and come into your own.

Light Pink vinyl w/ download. Since 2006, The Dodos (singer and guitarist Meric Long and drummer Logan Kroeber) have been careening, almost recklessly, towards some perfect ideal of how The Dodos should sound. First formed with the intention of creating a record that felt and sounded how the inside of a guitar might, the band have spent the intervening years sprinting towards that platonic goal. After widespread critical acclaim for their sophomore effort Visiter in 2008, the band toured incessantly for the next 10 years, playing countless venues all over the world including several performances on The Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Now, The Dodos are back with their brand new album Grizzly Peak out November 12th. Meditative and sometimes painful in it's emotional excavation, over the course of ten anthemic, gorgeously-rendered tracks, Grizzly Peak reveals itself as that place Long and Kroeber were always desperately trying to find. Befitting a record that hits so close to The Dodos' career-long goal, Grizzly Peak also serves as a love letter to the fans who have devoted their hearts to Long and Kroeber's music. InchI feel a huge debt of gratitude to our fans or anyone that paid attention enough to notice,Inch Long says. InchI really want to say thank you; going back to our original intention and trying to perfect this sound really seemed like the best way to express that gratitude. It was a huge motivation in working through this stuff.Inch

Nouveau monde is the fourth album from Jonathan Personne, also known as the singer, guitarist and lyricist from the Montreal-based indie rock band Corridor. Bringing together previously unreleased songs from different eras, the LP is by no means an outtakes album. Assuming the mismatched quality of his compositions, Jonathan Personne opted for a InchbedroomInch production just polished enough to create a cohesive bond that makes this melodic jumble a real tour de force. The result is an album whose InchmixtapeInch structure echoes that of '90s classics such as Check Your Head by the Beastie Boys or early Beck records, which shaped Jonathan Personne's youth.
