Joseph Szigeti - Complete Sonatas for Violin & Piano - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

On Integrated Tech Solutions-a concept album about an organization offering Inchlifestyle- and industry-specific applications designed to curate a desired multi-experienceInch-Aesop Rock wields insidious corporatespeak as a tool to pry the parasitic business culture away from the parts of life that truly matter, while picking apart the charlatan language. On InchMindful Solutionism,Inch as the wheel evolves seamlessly into modern agriculture-and then into atomic bombs, cigarettes, and surveillance cameras, Aes sums the spiral up in just a few words InchWe cannot be trusted with the stuff that we come up with.Inch The album sounds like the past and future at once.Largely self-produced, Integrated Tech Solutions catches Aesop Rock at his leanest and most innovative, leveraging InchSolutionismInch's careening bounce against the wistful InchBy the RiverInch or the slow creep of InchSalt and Pepper Squid.Inch The effect is a record that sounds itself like an organism growing, mutating, hurtling toward profitability-and then destruction. As fans have come to expect though, Aesop is cuttingly funny and slyly profound at once. InchI've been doing laps of the lost worlds,Inch he raps on InchAll City Nerve Map,Inch sounding at once wearied and reinvigorated. InchI can draw a map to the raw nerve.Inch

In the four years since Adrian Younge's 'Something About April' album first appeared, the Los Angeles-based producer and multi-instrumentalist has become his own musical cottage industry. Not only has he collaborated with musical legends ranging from The Delfonics to Ghostface Killah, Ali Shaheed Muhammad and The Souls of Mischief; his work has also been sampled by such rap giants as 50 Cent, Jay-Z and Common. In an equally impressive twist, DJ Premier produced an entire album with Younge's work as his only source material (including multiple samples from 'April,' of course) 2014's 'PRhyme,' with MC Royce Da 5'9'. 'Something About April' is an album that flaunts all of the trademarks that have made Younge an in-demand name as a composer and sample source-point.
