Love to finally see this HiDef under the water.. it looks nice and vivid on my 77 LG OLED.. and also this is captured in Indonesia which even make me proud . I love all these documentaries Films in 4K .. they make it looks real and feel like we part of the journey. We own few of them as for collection, and when we have friends and family come visit..this will be the showcase .. Physical DVD is way better than streaming.. if we able to get them. this presentation.. is about hour , and we still need more .. but its okay, we love and enjoy it so much.

This is an awesome movie about an underwater voyage to Indonesia. You get to learn about its inhabitants such as giant rays, whale sharks, sea turtles, manta rays, and other iconic creatures of the sea. So cool! This movie is really about a story of hope and celebrates the wonderful world of life (above land and in the sea) in the South Pacific.

This Blu Ray is from IMAX and the company uses 12K masters of their 70 MM film to make this absolutely great looking movie and with an incredible sound. This is a story about a boy learning from a ship school how to take care of the ocean and the creatures that live in them to preserve the lives of the villagers.

Beautifully done and even IMAX enhanced! The 4K is stunning on the 4K TV and Sony player. For a 10-year-old program, it is breathtaking to see. Comes with 4K, Blu-ray, Digital copy. I do recommend!

I purchased both Imax Journey to the South Pacific and A Beautiful Planet at the same time. Comparing the 2, in my opinion, A beautiful Planet looks better but I actually enjoyed Journey to the South Pacific more as a movie. Pretty entertaining.

Excellent visuals and sound if you have a TV with Dolby Vision and a sound system that supports Dolby Atmos.

This is a great movie for nature lovers. I bought it to watch on my new Samsung 65 inch q TV. I run it through a Sony ultra 4k disc player and it is awesome. The sound and picture have inspired 2 friends to buy the disc.

I thought this was more about the animals and landscape, it is more about the people. still good, still great colors, still imax quality. just wasn't what I needed.

The 4K movie Journey to the South Pacific has amazing colors. That IMAX enhancement takes the picture to another level. Highly recommended!!!

Imax and 4k really makes this movie stand out and worth a watch for those who enjoy nature/earth documentaries.

A nice little story of a island child coming of age. the 4k and IMAX effects make it a real experience to watch

Journey to the South Pacific dvd was exceptional. Enjoyed the viewing of the culture.
