Go deep without getting wet
Love to finally see this HiDef under the water.. it looks nice and vivid on my 77 LG OLED.. and also this is captured in Indonesia which even make me proud . I love all these documentaries Films in 4K .. they make it looks real and feel like we part of the journey. We own few of them as for collection, and when we have friends and family come visit..this will be the showcase .. Physical DVD is way better than streaming.. if we able to get them. this presentation.. is about hour , and we still need more .. but its okay, we love and enjoy it so much.

Great movie for the entire family
This is an awesome movie about an underwater voyage to Indonesia. You get to learn about its inhabitants such as giant rays, whale sharks, sea turtles, manta rays, and other iconic creatures of the sea. So cool! This movie is really about a story of hope and celebrates the wonderful world of life (above land and in the sea) in the South Pacific.

WOW FOR PICTURE AND SOUND
This Blu Ray is from IMAX and the company uses 12K masters of their 70 MM film to make this absolutely great looking movie and with an incredible sound. This is a story about a boy learning from a ship school how to take care of the ocean and the creatures that live in them to preserve the lives of the villagers.

Pretty good... not great
I purchased both Imax Journey to the South Pacific and A Beautiful Planet at the same time. Comparing the 2, in my opinion, A beautiful Planet looks better but I actually enjoyed Journey to the South Pacific more as a movie. Pretty entertaining.

Imax: Humpback Whales - 4K Blu-Ray [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray]

Not Yet Reviewed

Set in the spectacular waters of Alaska, Hawaii and the remote islands of Tonga, this ocean adventure offers audiences an up-close look at how these whales communicate, sing, feed, play and take care of their young. Captured for the first time with IMAX 3D cameras, and found on every ocean on Earth, humpbacks were nearly driven to extinction 50 years ago, but today are making a slow but remarkable recovery. Join a team of researchers as they unlock the secrets of the humpback and find out why humpbacks are the most acrobatic of all whales, why they sing their haunting songs, and why these intelligent, 55-foot, 50-ton animals migrate up to 10,000 miles round-trip every year. Narrated by two-time Golden Globe nominee Ewan McGregor, Humpback Whales is an extraordinary journey into the mysterious world of one of nature's most awe-inspiring marine mammals.

War Dogs - 4K Blu-Ray [Standard] [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray]

5.0(1)

War Dogs follows two friends in their early 20s (Hill and Teller) living in Miami Beach during the Iraq War who exploit a little-known government initiative that allows small businesses to bid on U.S. Military contracts. Starting small, they begin raking in big money and are living the high life. But the pair gets in over their heads when they land a 300 million dollar deal to arm the Afghan Military-a deal that puts them in business with some very shady people, not the least of which turns out to be the U.S. Government.
