Joy Division - Total - VINYL LP

Double vinyl LP pressing. Despite an incredibly short recording career Joy Division remarkably have stood the test of time in terms of influential British bands. Their dark, brooding sound has inspired more artists than could be listed and their continued adoration today is testament to the forward thinking yet inward projected music and lyricism of a young band on the brink of success yet unsure of how to deal with it. With the sad passing of Ian Curtis, from the ashes rose New Order; the same core band but with a new fresh approach to their chosen career path. Loud, colorful and full of life. Album Tracks 1. Transmission (2011 Total Version) - By Joy Division 2. Love Will Tear Us Apart (2011 Total Version) - By Joy Division 3. Isolation (2011 Total Version) - By Joy Division 4. Laufey - Everything I Know About Love - VINYL LP
    5.0(2)

Laufey - Everything I Know About Love / Laufey is a Los Angeles-based singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist whose transportative jazz songs about young love and self-discovery are filled with wonder and wanderlust. Raised between Reykjavík and Washington D.C. with annual visits to Beijing, the Icelandic Chinese artist grew up playing cello and piano, inspired by her violinist mother, and became hooked on the jazz standards of Ella Fitzgerald after digging through her father's records. Her debut album Everything I Know About Love blends modern song structures and sensibilities with the classic musical stylings and instrumentation she learned as a violinist, translating intimate coming-of-age feelings into grand cinematic moments. The album swoons from sweeping orchestral arrangements, to soft jazz vocals that recall the range of golden-age Hollywood musicals. This is the second pressing of Everything I Know About Love now including the viral hit InchValentineInch. Album Tracks 1. Fragile 2. Beautiful Stranger 3. Valentine 4. Above the Chinese Restaurant 5. Dear Soulmate 6. What Love Will Do to You 7. I've Never Been in Love Before 8. Just Like Chet 9. Everything I Know About Love 10. Falling Behind 11. Hi 12. Dance with You Tonight 13. Night Light
