Julinko - Naebula - VINYL LP

London-based duo Peggy Sue, made up of Katy Young & Rosa Slade, are back with their new album Vices, which is set for Feb 21st.It has taken Peggy Sue four years to work through all of their Vices. The London band's upcoming fourth album, due February 21st is their first full-length since 2014's Choir Of Echoes. It's ten tracks are bittersweet tales of love and distraction, as simple as they are powerful, and irresistible in their combination of tender harmonies and stark, cautiously optimistic guitars. Vices borrows from the perfectly constructed pop songs of the 1960s, and the understated, noisy anthems of nineties bands like Blur and the Breeders, and it is a self-assured return to the very essence of Peggy Sue.

Jaye Bartell - Light Enough [COMPACT DISCS] date 05/06/2016

You must surrender. Because if you've followed Naum Gabo over the past 15 years - across various 12-inches, styles, and notable labels - and you're listening to InchF. Lux,Inch their first proper album, then you're probably wondering how you wound up here, all the way down, barely able to see through the brain-clogging atmosphere and towering low-end. InchF. LuxInch is a deep, enthralling listen, alternating between moments of pounding, world-ending techno (InchSchinokapsalaInch and InchThis 1 ¨o?Inch) and sharply imagined, surrealist scenes painted with metallic machines (InchAoraInch and InchHaerstagInch). There is light to be found in the darkness, but the only way out is through. Naum Gabo are Glasgow's Jonnie Wilkes (also known as one-half of DJ duo Optimo) and James Savage (prolific mastering engineer). F. Lux was written and produced entirely by them at their Glasgow Hottrax Studios and mastered by James Savage. The album's front cover artwork is a painting by cherished Scottish painter, Andrew Cranston. The vinyl was pressed at MPO in France using lacquers cut by Bob Weston in Chicago.
