Just Cause (MOD) (BluRay Movie) [Blu-ray]

The film stars Marise Dauvray as Edith, a woman who is unhappily married to an older man, Francois (Severin-Mars), but is actually in love with a young poet, Jean Diaz (Romuald Joube). Both Jean and Francois end up on the front lines of World War I while Edith is captured by German forces and suffers atrocities at the hands of the soldiers. Gance juxtaposes individual human suffering with the more massive horrors of war, all depicted with a mixture of stark realism and avant-garde expressionism.

George Strait makes his film debut in an entertaining look into the heart and soul of country music from Young Guns director Christopher Cain. Superstar Dusty Chandler (Strait) is tired of the showbiz grind. One day, something snaps, and Dusty takes "a little walk," ditching his beard and ponytail -- and, temporarily, his career -- to reclaim his down-home roots. But his manager (Lesley Ann Warren) retaliates: A stand-in (Kyle Chandler)

Ex-Marine turned attorney Max, played by Kellan Lutz (The Twilight Saga), launches a brutal campaign of retribution after a cartel murders his wife and daughter. This revenge-action movie dives into the personal cost of justice as Max uses his combat training to dismantle a criminal empire. Featuring veteran Jeff Fahey (Lost) as a grizzled mentor and Efren Ramirez (Napoleon Dynamite) in a rare gritty role, the movie blends emotional grit with tight, practical stunt work. Set in Texas and California, it channels the raw energy of early 2000s thrillers.
