About this product
Hailing from France, K AMON K is a new dark Entity created by veterans of the French Black Metal scene, who have known each other for over 20 years. At first it was the work of two musicians (Kra Cillag & Kzg), but they were soon joined by Kra Altar (drums) and then Fyr (bass). Due to the geographical distance between each member of the group, the recording had to be spread over several months, with a simple, natural and very efficient writing process, keeping each song essential and pure. The band took great care to create unique and original synth sounds to bring real ambiences, more than simple layers. The French lyrics, on the other hand, reflect a personal journey, carried by a voice that has been worked as an instrument in it's own right during the compositions of the album

November 24th, 2024, marked the 50th Annyversary of Nick Drake's untimely passing at the age of just 26, so it seemed like the right time to honor another of his studio albums InchFIVE LEAVES LEFTInch. This time I wanted to go back to where it all began and take Drake's is first album and put it on my Piano canvas. Everything about InchFIVE LEAVES LEFTInch has fresh, more positive vibe, in contrast to the harshness of his latest InchPink MoonInch and thoughts of his impeding death.
Death Age maintains the armed to the teeth savage militancy of earlier material from LA's Kommand, now taken even further into enemy territory with more grisly wartorn brutality than ever. Like the coordinated bombardment of an entire continent, Death Age is an air raid siren for imminent cataclysm. The ominous atmosphere on Death Age heralds the single-minded concentrated objective; to batter, demolish and destroy with no quarter given. Death metal of this kind taps into the most primitive, untamed instincts, advancing like a convoy of tanks through occupied territory, heedless of whatever or whoever stands in it's path. From opener InchFinal VirusInch to closer InchCollapse Metropolis,Inch Kommand's vision of a dystopian hellscape, cities permanently scarred by heavy weaponry, and those unfortunates who survived the onslaught never relents or offers respite. Death Age thus renders a terminal epitaph on the bloody trash heap of near-future history.
