Karbholz - Kapitel 10: Wilde Augen - Transparent Red - VINYL LP

Ltd. Edition Gatefold Orange Transparent Vinyl plus CD. The 4 friends in band Kärbholz from the tranquil town of Ruppichteroth, Germany will be 18 years old in 2023.Some people will think that at some point the wear and tear must become noticeable. Not at all. Because the forced break of the past two years was by no means only a stroke of bad luck for Torben (vocals), Adrian (guitar), Stefan (bass) and Henning (drums). True to the motto InchEven the break belongs to the music!Inch the time was used to catch their breath, refuel and creatively come together and reunite in the rehearsal room. Once again, the four guys were supported by the producer team Eike Freese (Chameleon Studios) and Alexander Dietz (Heaven Shall Burn, Chemical Burn Studios). On InchKapitel Elf BarrikadenInch you can hear 11 new tracks. Songs that tell stories from life sometimes in a small, sometimes in a big way. The musical range of the album is proven by songs like the poem DER ZUG set to music, the Inchalmost crossoverInch brawler MUT GEGEN PERSPEKTIVE or GAR NICHTS, which alternates between bittersweet harmonies and rigorous reckoning with false friends.

LP + CD. KÄRBHOLZ is one of the most successful German speaking rock bands of the last 10 years. Since their foundation in 2003, the four guys from the quiet Ruppichteroth (a small town near Cologne) have managed to continuously raise their level of popularity. The logical consequence were regular chart successes in the past years. With the switch to Metalville Records and the album InchKarmaInch in 2015, position #7 made it into the German Top Ten for the first time. With the longplayer InchÜberdosis LebenInch, released in 2017, they even just missed the pole position of the official charts in Germany with #2. The following album InchHerz & VerstandInch, released in 2019, reached #3. The music of Kärbholz contains influences from rock, punk and indie. The musicians themselves as well as the fans call their sound full throttle Rock 'n' Roll. Over the years, the band has also gained a reputation as an exciting live act whose straight, charismatic and raw sound full of emotionality inspires a wide audience. A circumstance that regularly leads to sold-out tours in their home country. Since 2006 Kärbholz have been organising their own open air festival called InchHeimspielInch (Home game). What began with 50 fans and friends has developed over time into a nationally known two-day event with several thousand visitors. In the new songs on InchKontra.Inch(Counterpoint) the melancholy of the last album has given way to a positive atmosphere of departure. More untamed, riff heavier and louder. At the same time, a look back to the early albums, on which the punk elements were given more freedom, was also possible. On their new album Kärbholz didn't go in search of the big musical change but tried to filter out the essence of the past 15 years of band history and to plant it in every single track. Songs like InchNiemals FallenInch could also come from the first album. InchRücken

Anchored in the idea that, despite all obstacles, the human experience casts a net of possibilities, Defiant Life - Vijay Iyer and Wadada Leo Smith's second duo recording for ECM - proves a profound meditation on the human condition and both the suffering and resilience it entails. Recorded within two days at Lugano's Auditorio Stelio Molo, Defiant Life was produced by Manfred Eicher. InchThis recording session was conditioned by our ongoing sorrow and outrage over the past year's cruelties, but also by our faith in human possibility.Inch - Vijay Iyer
