Purchased and paired with a Q6 center channel to replace a pair of KEF LS50s. The Q Concerto Meta’s handle home theater duty was well as stereo playback with ease. The speakers feature a full dynamic range with enough headroom on the amps I’ve paired them with including a Cambridge Audio CXA61 and Fosi Audio ZA3. No issues with setup, but be mindful of placement in your room, use the port bungs if near a wall or corner, and always consider running room correction to dial your speakers in. Only concern is quality: the finish since these appear to be MDF with a vinyl wrap. We’ll see how they hold up, but the magnetic grills are a nice touch. As with most KEFs these need power behind them to move and are 4 ohm speakers. So for what it’s worth, I recommend adding a stereo amp as preout in a home theater setup, but will work in a pinch without it.

The KEF Concerto META bookshelf loudspeaker is truly a great value and it sounds wonderful. I knew when buying this speaker I would cross it over at 80 Hertz to an SVS 2000 pro subwoofer to cover the low notes. This speaker can play down to about 40 Hertz without a sub, but I chose to cross it over to keep it from trying to reproduce low notes. When I did that the lower mid range became a little bit more clean. With an 80 HZ crossover the speaker still sounds natural and full. The speaker sound is really smooth without any jagged edges in the upper mid range and treble. This is not a forward sounding speaker, just smooth. You can actually stand up and walk around the room and everything sounds about the same without the sound stage shifting from one side to other. When standing up or sitting down, the soundstage stays the same. Great. Just make sure your speaker stands are the proper height to bring the tweeter and mid-range up to your ear height. Also make sure you have a proper amp to drive a 4-ohm load of the speaker. The speaker's sensitivity is on the low side but a proper amp will remedy that. The speaker will sound dynamic but still smooth and clear. With the speaker grills on, the sound is slightly muffled. Please remove them for critical listening. When not listening to music the grills look great on the speakers. If you're in the mood to purchase a new set of speakers please consider these because they are a great value and sounds wonderful.

Beautiful speaker! Price was great. I like the low end of the bass the best. Good sound. Lacks the detail of the ls50 meta and r3. Struggled with a 40w tube amp but started performing well with the +100w nad c399. I found this difficult to place this speaker in my listening room. Had to be approx 24 inches off my wall to produce that liw bass. I ended up sending them back and keeping the ls50 with sub. If your looking for an endgame speaker, splurge for the R3.

Great soundstage and imaging, running off a class D amp that puts out 200 into 4 ohms and it handles more than I can take. Great coverage in a large open concept living area. Very happy to have them!

I purchased the KEF Concertos to replace my Q150s in my home theater setup. They are excellent and perform great for their price. Noticeably more detailed and less distortion than my previous speakers. I would recommend these to someone who is looking to take their setup to the next step without breaking the bank on more expensive options. These will give you close to R3 Meta performance at a fraction of the cost.

Exceeded my expectations. Clean, crisp and specially deep bass reproduction.

I was on the fence looking at the Q Concertos for a while. I read everything I could online and auditioned them in the store several times. I finally made the purchase and all I can say is wow! These are very underrated speakers and punch above their price point. Phenomenal KEF imaging and so clean and smooth through the mids and highs without being too bright. They paired perfectly with my Arcam A25 and Music Hall turntable. I can and have sat for hours listening to my favorite albums with the KEFs rediscovering and falling in love again with some older media. These were a great purchase!

Takes a bit of tweaking to get it setup but using the Wiim Ultra built in EQ alomg with a usb-mic worked great for me. I bought these as open box and saved about 30%.Good value with that, but at full price might have looked elsewhere. I ended up about 1 foot away from back wall, but it prefers more space behind. Bass is adequate for me anyway.

These are considered "entry-level" KEF speakers and serve as l/r channels on a 7.1 system (all KEF Q series except for Klipsch wireless subwoofer). As part of a home theatre setup they are great for movies/video- and with the right input good for audio also as part of a 5 channel stereo setup. Well made and will last a lifetime if you want traditional audio/AV receiver system.

Easily the best speakers in this price range. I initially ordered the Q7 Meta, but I got this early so I decided to try it. Its perfect for the room of my size, and looks great on stands. I have complemented it with SB2000 pro and its a perfect combination in place of towers

These make great loud speakers for the price if it’s almost as good as the R3 meta!

Excellent speakers for smaller rooms. Surprisingly good bass. For larger rooms, it is good but probably a floor stander would be better

The KEF Q Series Concerto Meta really surprised me. Coming from the R3 Metas, I can say these hold their own in many areas—clear mids, solid bass, and great imaging. While they don’t match the absolute refinement and detail of the R3s, they come impressively close at a much lower price. If you're willing to compromise a bit on high-end precision, these are hands down the best value-for-money speakers in KEF’s lineup. They sound way bigger than they look and pair nicely with my Denon X3800H. The only downside for me is the finish—the color and texture just didn’t do it for me visually. But once they’re playing, that’s easy to overlook. Highly recommended if you're looking for near-R3 performance without the R3 price tag

Noticeable upgrade from my smaller bookshelf speakers. Much better low end! Driving them with an average AVR and I haven’t noticed any issues.

I tried several others but these are the best without spending a fortune. Clear, crisp sound with good highs which is what I was looking for without losing the bass.

Great speakers. They demand alot of power, but they do put out great sounds.

Love these, wish the had better highs though. Using with a Rotel A12 original. Maybe my burn-in is not complete. Purchased them box for an absolute steal.
