I have only used for normal viewing, i.e. no Superhero/Action flicks but sound is clean so far. Can always add a sub if you need to rattle your teeth.

Q Concerto Meta White 3-Way (pair) with Grille

The LS50 Meta has inherited its distinctive good looks from the original LS50, with its low-diffraction, curved baffle precision modelled around the Uni-Q driver array. The curved front is subtly mirrored by the gently radiused rear panel, while both the port exit and speaker terminals have been elegantly recessed and softened visually. The LS50 Meta’s extremely rigid cabinet is optimised for the best performance, with smooth curved surfaces that help radiate sound out across the baffle without any interference

R3 Meta redefines bookshelf speaker’s performance. Sharing the same drivers as the range-topping R11 Meta, the R3 Meta is a true three-way design. It has a 12th generation Uni-Q driver array with MAT and a powerful 6.5” hybrid aluminum bass driver that pushes performance to the extreme.

The third generation of Klipsch's award-winning premium Reference Premiere 600M II features new, larger proprietary Tractrix horn technology to improve high-frequency response and extension, while enhancing imaging and dynamics. Klipsch signature copper Cerametallic woofers with aluminum faraday rings and Tractrix ports provide powerful low frequencies while minimizing distortion and maximizing efficiency. Sleek cabinet design details exude refinement and luxury with enhanced cabinet bracing, aluminum binding posts, cat aluminum feet, and discrete Dolby Atmos connections that allow for easy and refined elevation speaker integration.

The KEF Concerto META bookshelf loudspeaker is truly a great value and it sounds wonderful. I knew when buying this speaker I would cross it over at 80 Hertz to an SVS 2000 pro subwoofer to cover the low notes. This speaker can play down to about 40 Hertz without a sub, but I chose to cross it over to keep it from trying to reproduce low notes. When I did that the lower mid range became a little bit more clean. With an 80 HZ crossover the speaker still sounds natural and full. The speaker sound is really smooth without any jagged edges in the upper mid range and treble. This is not a forward sounding speaker, just smooth. You can actually stand up and walk around the room and everything sounds about the same without the sound stage shifting from one side to other. When standing up or sitting down, the soundstage stays the same. Great. Just make sure your speaker stands are the proper height to bring the tweeter and mid-range up to your ear height. Also make sure you have a proper amp to drive a 4-ohm load of the speaker. The speaker's sensitivity is on the low side but a proper amp will remedy that. The speaker will sound dynamic but still smooth and clear. With the speaker grills on, the sound is slightly muffled. Please remove them for critical listening. When not listening to music the grills look great on the speakers. If you're in the mood to purchase a new set of speakers please consider these because they are a great value and sounds wonderful.

Purchased and paired with a Q6 center channel to replace a pair of KEF LS50s. The Q Concerto Meta’s handle home theater duty was well as stereo playback with ease. The speakers feature a full dynamic range with enough headroom on the amps I’ve paired them with including a Cambridge Audio CXA61 and Fosi Audio ZA3. No issues with setup, but be mindful of placement in your room, use the port bungs if near a wall or corner, and always consider running room correction to dial your speakers in. Only concern is quality: the finish since these appear to be MDF with a vinyl wrap. We’ll see how they hold up, but the magnetic grills are a nice touch. As with most KEFs these need power behind them to move and are 4 ohm speakers. So for what it’s worth, I recommend adding a stereo amp as preout in a home theater setup, but will work in a pinch without it.

Beautiful speaker! Price was great. I like the low end of the bass the best. Good sound. Lacks the detail of the ls50 meta and r3. Struggled with a 40w tube amp but started performing well with the +100w nad c399. I found this difficult to place this speaker in my listening room. Had to be approx 24 inches off my wall to produce that liw bass. I ended up sending them back and keeping the ls50 with sub. If your looking for an endgame speaker, splurge for the R3.
