The Reference has been continually enhanced by new innovations and technological developments. The Referece incorporates our latest innovation, Metamaterial Absorption Technology, and continues to be the supreme expression of KEF's philosophy, where advanced engineering meets inspired design.

When it comes to physical technology, LS50 Wireless II takes its lead from KEF’s LS50 Meta passive loudspeakers. A truly revolutionary tool in the KEF acoustic armoury, Metamaterial Absorption Technology1 (MAT) is a highly complex maze-like structure, where each of the intricate channels efficiently absorbs a specific frequency. When combined, the channels act as an acoustic black hole, absorbing 99% of the unwanted sound that comes from the rear of the tweeter, eliminating the resulting distortion and providing a purer, more natural sound.

The Sonance VX42 in-wall speaker, a perfect blend of compact design and powerful sound. This speaker features a 0.75” cloth dome tweeter and a 4.5” textured polypropylene cone, delivering crisp, clear audio in a smaller footprint. Featuring a unique Sinusoidal Textured Waveguide design for optimal sound dispersion, and a Flex Frame Mounting System with RotoLock Clamps, the VX42 offers flexibility in installation and sound. The paintable grille allows for aesthetic integration into any room, making the speaker an unobtrusive yet powerful component of your home audio system.

Bring exceptional sound outdoors with the Sonance MAG6.1 Landscape Outdoor Speaker System, powered by Sonos. This 6.1-channel outdoor speaker system combines six satellite landscape speakers and a discreet in-ground subwoofer to deliver powerful, evenly balanced audio across patios, gardens, and poolside spaces up to 1,500 sq ft. Designed to blend beautifully into natural surroundings, the system offers the immersive clarity of an indoor surround setup with the durability and weather resistance expected from a premium outdoor sound system. Whether you're entertaining guests or enjoying a quiet evening under the stars, the MAG6.1 System fills your space with rich, detailed audio while staying virtually hidden in plain sight. Seamlessly stream your favorite content using Sonos wireless control and experience a refined alternative to a Bluetooth outdoor speaker system that’s built to outperform expectations.

I’ve had B&W, Klipsch K-Horn, and other higher end speakers and i dont feel any of the others handled the bass response as well as the Reference 5. Sure theres a price to pay but, as with much in life if you want something better than whats readily available youre going to have to pay for it. These are worth every penny. From tonal separation to dynamic dispersion, the ability of these speakers have yet to be fully realized ss I’ve uet to break them in.
