The Kensington UltraView Free-Standing Monitor Mount is a single-display desk arm that raises a screen toward eye level and clears the surface underneath for documents, a keyboard, or a notebook. The black steel and aluminum column carries a display weighing up to 17.6 pounds, or 8 kilograms, and attaches through standard VESA plates measuring 75 by 75 or 100 by 100 millimeters, which covers the majority of business monitors. Height adjustment is the defining feature, with a range from 9.4 to 18.5 inches supported by the Kensington SmartFit system, a color-coded sizing chart that matches hand size to a recommended screen height so each person can set an ergonomic position in seconds rather than guessing. The head tilts and swivels within plus or minus 10 degrees for fine alignment against window light and overhead fixtures, and it rotates plus or minus 180 degrees to switch between landscape and portrait orientation for code, documents, and long reports. A C-clamp comes preinstalled and grips desk edges up to 3.3 inches, or 85 millimeters, thick, and an included grommet mount fits surfaces up to 1.5 inches, or 40 millimeters, thick for a permanent installation through an existing cable hole. An integrated cable management channel routes video and power cords along the arm and column to keep the desktop clear. Both mounting options ship in the box, so the arm can move between desks without extra hardware, and the VESA plate clips to the head before the display is lifted into position.
