Customers highly value the sound quality, Apple CarPlay integration, and ease of use of this 6.75" in-dash digital media receiver. Many appreciate the display and find the price reasonable for the features offered. While some users experienced issues with the volume control and clock functionality, the overall feedback highlights a positive user experience. The installation process is also frequently praised for its simplicity and fit.
I love my new dmx4707s. Here is why: - it looks like OEM in my 2014 Mazda 6 - responsive capacitive touch screen - audio controls such as crossover, recognize and adjust sound based on speaker location.(Pioneer don't offer these controls at this price range) - screen resolution and clariry - has the same operational system as other high end kenwood receiver - has screen mirroring and works well. - android auto works well - excellent audio output and good factory radio upgrade Cons: Screen glare during daylight (Sony XAV-AX5000 offers anti glare) I miss the volume control knob 2volt audio output (don't bother me) At this price range, the dmx4707s is a great option.

The Kenwood DMX4707S does everything that I need it to do. Installation was fairly simple. The backup camera integration is awesome. I like that I can see behind me while driving when my truck bed is full. Android Auto works flawlessly (after replacing my old cable). I had an issue with setting the time, but after deactivating RDS CT (Synchronizing the Radio Data System station time data and the unit’s clock), all is well. I definitely recommend this head unit. For under $300, it has a lot of nice features.

It does all the basics. I like the glass capacitive touch screen Vs the plastic resistive touch screens Apple CarPlay works well however it does lose the wired connection on occasion may 1/10 times using it. But a simple unplug and plug back in fixes the issue every time. Sound quality is decent but not as good as higher end units. At first the clock would not stay correct but a firmware update from kenwood fixed that issue.
