A sales person for Best Buy suggested this Kenwood DMX7709S unit for my 2009 Honda Accord EXL coupe. I did some research myself but kept coming back to this unit by Kenwood due to its quality name history, and I am so very glad that I took his advice! This unit coupled with my existing Bose speakers was exactly the right choice. Best Buy sales listed the parts that I needed for the installation and made an appointment for my local store. The techs were extremely knowledgeable and friendly and so easy to work with! The result completely blew me away. This unit proved to be powerful, full of quality and richness, I was completely thrilled with the outcome once installed. It took me back 14 years ago to the day I purchased my car, in fact, I have to say the stereo sound has never been so great! From purchase to finished product everything turned out seamless and could not have been better! Best Buy completely knocked it out of the park for me, and I am extremely happy with the results. I did also purchase the back up camera which they installed as well, and the system works flawlessly. It is as if my 2009 accord has been transfigured, just like a brand new model car! For a medium priced unit, this Kenwood is outstanding, and I would highly recommend you look at Kenwoods that fit your car’s size and needs. I’ve had the unit installed for about a week, and I could not be happier with the results! To take a 2009 model car and transform it to be hands-free, and filled with sound that packs a punch is well worth the price! I’m thrilled with my purchase, and all the help Best Buy gave me to have a professional, neat installation and hands free car play with sound that can’t be beat! Awesome job, Best Buy!

Replaced stock radio in jeep jku with this. Sound is 100 percent better. Bought because of the shallow size of the unit (ease of installment) and all of the features. Apple car play, android auto, sound processing features. Hdmi imput and two camera inputs. Interface and screen similar to cell phone. Only issue i have is fit in dashboard sits back a little further in the jeep dash board then the stick unit

Like others have started, this is probably the best bang for the buck in aftermarket name brand head units capable of Android Auto. The capacitive touch instead of being resistive touch alone makes it stand out over other units in this price range. I purchased an open box excellent for $319, and it is worth every penny. Also pairs well with the Motorola wireless dongle for a true wireless experience. Only negative is that glare. It is brutal. Even on a cloudy day, I couldn't take a photo for this review without you seeing the backside of my phone for the photo. There are settings to change the viewing angle by 5% increments, and in my case maxing the setting out to favor the drivers side makes a decent impact. But still, pretty poor screen/glass quality compared to what's factory in most automobiles today. And if you're driving with sunglasses on, forget it. Even at maximum brightness, the screen may as well be off.

I love the sound it brings to my stock Land Rover sound system. The only reason i gave it 4 stars is because the glare is terrible. Everything reflects off of it making it hard to see during the day. The display also is hard to see at an angle.

I got this installed in my 2015 civic si. After using this system for 2 weeks, I found that there are a couple minor issues. First and most importantly, the lane watch (right blind spot camera) is delayed by about 0.5-1.0 sec. This might not sound like much, but when you need to change lanes fast, this is a real inconvenience. The oem unit turned on the camera immediately. The lane watch button will get the screen stuck on the camera unless you tap the bottom of the screen. Second, the screen is dark on the left side when the reverse camera turns on. Maybe I need to adjust the brightness but at night it is already very bright so idk if I want to change it. Something minor is that the "watch your surroundings" message that pops on the reverse camera display takes up much of the screen and won't go away unless you tap it or wait a long time. Driving stick where I use my right hand on the shifter, it's awkward having to touch the screen. Lastly, the touch controls are too precise. It's hard to press the correct button you need to. I would have rather actual buttons. One more minor detail is that if you go off the radio screen, you can't use your steering wheel controls to change the radio. Weird but I know most people will be only using the carplay/android auto. One really good plus is that you keep all the gauges throught the gauge screen. Range, mph, rpm, even guages not included in the default head unit. Overall, if you are only using the Carplay/android auto, this is worth, but many things should be fixed in an update.

1st i purchased an open box and it stated it was excellent condition. It was far from excellent. Parts missing, no protection in box, head unit faced down in the box on top of objects that could scratch or damage the screen. The 1st head unit i purchased from Best buy couple years ago (open box) was a pioneer but had issues. So never buy open box from best buy. Its trash! I returned this Kenwood to my local store and they only had a brand new in stock and they gave me a discount but i still had to come out of pocket of course and pay a little more. Its worth it. The Kenwood is fantastic with all the features it offers and great for a audio system.

It fit my Toyota corrola S 2011 u just need to buy more parts in order for it to fit correctly and I recommend to let Best Buy handle it Hwoever I think if Yk what ur doing u can do it on ur own.Apple car play is nice but I prefer just using blue tooth the only thing I don’t like is the delay when connecting the phone to the car other then that it’s fast.

Another solid Kenwood head unit. Touch screen is very responsive. The audio controls are what I really love about this unit. I recently installed 6x9 and 6.75” KS series kicker speakers in my doors, along with the KS series 2.75” “tweeters” in the dash. With this unit I can finely tune the speakers separately, which makes for an awesome listening experience. If your looking for a new head unit, and don’t mind plugging in for apple carplay, don’t hesitate buying this kenwood.

I have always been of the opinion that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Well, the factory stereo in my 2016 Toyota Highlighter developed problems so I had Best Buy’s Geek Squad fix it with a new stereo. I love it. I rarely have to touch it. Paring my iPhone and using Apple CarPlay I just tell it what I need and it does the rest. The unit integrated nicely into my car’s interior and with my car’s features. The factory stereo didn’t have the newer features. The voice recognition was not good and it didn’t offer Apple CarPlay. Now I wonder why I waited so long.

Big time bang for your buck. It’s a great head unit. Put it in my 2018 titan and love it. Be sure you realize most head units in this price range are car play VIA USB CORD! If you’re ok with that you’ll love it. If you’re installing it yourself like I did the usb cord is hardwired into the back of the unit and is probably 6 feet.

Great Kenwood stereo for the money. My experience at Best buy was a good one, I was helped right away by a young man named Chris and it was a smooth interaction as well as transaction. Couldn't be happier thank you!
