This unit has amazing sound quality, Android Auto and Apple Carplay, rear-view camera option that automatically comes on when you put the car in reverse, and even has a quick access button to check behind you which is ideal when towing! All of the streaming apps work seamlessly, you have access to Google Maps and Waze GPS. The system even reads your texts, facebook messages, and several other messaging apps out loud, and allows you to respond by voice without taking your eyes off the road. Completely satisfied!

Overall a great system, and depending on what your needs are, may be perfect. Pros: excellent sound (a great upgrade from the stock radio on my 2016 Toyota Prius), excellent sound customization (equalizer and various other settings), fast and reliable features (wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay) Cons: more expensive than other systems, standard (not high definition) display, screen mirroring (both wired and wireless) do not work (apparently it requires Miracast which Google Pixel phones no longer have. If I had known this, I would not have purchased this system). Finally the size looks odd in my 2016 Toyota Prius. On a side note, getting this purchased and installed by Best Buy was quite the process, but everyone who helped me was excellent (including the installer Elvin at Lakewood).

I've been using the Kenwood Dmx-9707s for a while now. I have it installed in my 2010 Ford F150 SVT Raptor. Pairs with the Mestro RR2 it retains the factory steering wheel controls. It also controls my HVAC and heated seats. Another cool feature is it pairs with the Escort Max 360c to give you live updates on the screen and also let's you adjust the radar detector settings on screen. Great stereo for sound quality. Has all the EQ setting and also pairs well with my High and Low amps. Crossover setting and many other great features.. Many camera inputs and also outputs. Everything you would ever need wrapped up into this unit. I highly recommend this stereo

I purchased this head-unit to replace oem stereo. Obviously it made 1000% difference. Kenwood makes a phenomenal product with LOTS of control over your sound. It is highly customizable and very user friendly. I will say this, though..... if you decide on this head-unit and you can afford it, purchase the maestro-rr to pair with it. Its the only way you can unlock the entire potential of the Kenwood (gauges, vehicle info, steering wheel control customization). Geek Squad installed for me and did a phenomenal job (Russ @ Hoover, AL location).

I spent a lot of time comparing car stereo systems and I am so glad I ended up purchasing this model. It has everything I wanted in a stereo, including Apple CarPlay. I love how you can customize a lot of settings like the wallpaper and button LED colors. The screen size is perfect and the sound is amazing. I had Best Buy install this stereo in my 2014 Toyota Camry and they did an amazing job!! I had to buy a dash kit, backup camera harness, steering wheel control harness, and a USB retention cable in addition to the stereo. The extra parts were necessary to retain my steering wheel controls and backup camera functions. Everything works good and I am so happy with the installation from Best Buy. I am very happy with my purchase!! I bought the 3 year Geek Squad warranty in case anything goes bad.

This review is what I love about this radio. It has am/fm and SiriusXM. You can connect through Bluetooth or usb cable. The USB cable allows you to use Carplay/Android Auto. It has customizable backgrounds and accent light colors, an equilizer, and Crossfader controls. If you have a subwoofer, you can control the sub independently from the other speakers. There have been a few instances on Bluetooth where certain songs I played on Google Play had no sound. I have not yet found the cause of this. I suspect it may be the new Android 10 update. I had this issue for about an hour, then it would not replicate. I am so happy with my purchase. I decided between this and the Sony XAV, choosing this because of the high customizability.

I upgraded the factory BOSE with the Kenwood DMX7706S. I added a Sirius XM receiver which controls are built in the Kenwood. Its connected to a 9 speaker BOSE system with includes 2 subs and amp. The sound and performance are phenomenal. I also bought the kit to connect my steering wheel controls so I can control the sound and has an up and down advance switch. The up and down switch advances channels in sequence one at a time. I haven't found the function yet, and I am not even sure there is a function to change the switch so that it advances my favorites or presets one at a time. That is the only thing that is missing or could improve with this unit. You can customize the color of the controls and switches and you have some control over customizing the display. Overall this is an outstanding Digital Media Receiver especially for the price.

This is my 2nd Kenwood Apple CarPlay stereo head unit. This time I opted for a non-CD/DVD version as all my personal music is on my iPhone. The installation was easier as it took less depth and weight. By 1st connecting it to the interface unit on my workbench made the final installation plug & play. Great car radio. Solid features. You can fine tune the backlit buttons to match your vehicle's dash lighting. And Apple CarPlay makes it work seamlessly with my iPhone. Awesome value if you don't need to play CDs or DVDs!

We had this installed in my son's 98' Mustang and even with the original speakers, this radio sounds really good. I have to admit that I am quite impressed with the sound, and my son is tickled. All of the Apple Play functionality works, as does Siri. Bestbuy did an awesome install. It was a great value, especially with the free install.

It does not come with a CD drive ! Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay works flawless. It is wired! Do your homework if you want a wireless unit. Wireless units will drain your car battery! The sound output on this unit is outstanding. It made my factory Toyota speakers sound better than a luxury brand speakers without any other upgrades! Make sure you consult geeksquad for specific kit and harness requirement for your particular model specially if you are doing curbside pickup.

I’ve only had this stereo for two weeks and I love it. The audio is insane, so many customizable settings. I love the apple CarPlay. It is not wired apple CarPlay. The Bluetooth is amazing, every function is great. The audio for phone calls is perfect as well. They mounted it to my steering wheel instead of on the A pillar. I also got a backup camera with the stereo and it’s perfect. Picture for the backup camera is a 8/10. Overall very happy I went with this stereo.

I love this deck, very customizable, cool displays. Touch response is great, makes my stereo sound great. Brightness is adjustable, the only downside is the cord needing to be attached for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto but knew that before buying. Still give 5 stars, even bought a 2nd one for my work truck. This was installed perfectly in a 2006 Mazda3 Hatchback GT.

I've had this for about a year now & I can say it's not bad! I would recommend this radio because the price was fair & the installation was free with the purchase!! I will definitely upgrade to a alpine if this one ever fails which seems highly unlikely!!

Really good product,I have a nissan 2016 altima I replaced my factory radio with that KENWOOD and now im feeling I made the good decision,wait for one month to install at best buy leave my car at the location and technician gives me two hours time frame but he called me before two hours and said your car ready,technician was professional and he did the good job,highly recommended,

This is all that I was missing in my 2018 Toyota RAV4. I needed Apple CarPlay and Best Buy was AMAZING with the installation. So happy!

Instantly modernize your car and increase safety with this head unit. Android auto is becoming a necessity in cars now. The touch screen is way more responsive and quick then my 2020 explorer system. The best buy install went perfect have no complaints. The head unit looks like it was factory installed.

Excellent Radio!!! Bought it for my daughters 2015 Kia Soul and she loves it. Our BEST BUY tech guy did an amazing job installing it. He even made sure that the controls on my steering wheel worked with the radio. I had to pay a little extra but it was worth it. Bluetooth works amazing and making phone calls is crystal clear. I can hear them and vice versa!

I always buy pioneer radios but this Display had me hooked! Great sound And sub controls. Worth the $379. I'm happy
