Q: how good is this radio water protected
A: My radio lasted two months the water intrusion corroded some inside parts, it died, the warranty would not cover it because it had water in it this radio, it s not waterproof at all. I need to buy another radio for my boat now but I’m not going to buy another Kenwood marine radio they are probably good for cars. They sound great but not for outside. Hope this helps you make your decision.

Q: Will this radio connect wirelessly to my iPhone X via bluetooth and play from my iTunes playlists?
A: This radio does offer Bluetooth and will connect to your iPhone to allow you to steam any music you want to listen to.
A: The radio does offer HD Radio. As for Siriusxm you do need the Siriusxm adapter part number SXV300. This plugs into the back of the radio and has its own antenna. Once this is connected you can call Siriusxm to activate the services.
Q: Does have button for higher power! Like a built in amplifier I guess that’s what I mean?
A: There is not a button for high power mode. Depending on your setup the radio does have options for adjusting our EQ settings, audio settings, if running an amp there are also adjustments for that as well.
Q: Will this radio fit in my 1995 GMC 1500 pickup?
A: It should fit with a basic dash kit.
