First of all, I’ve only had this keyboard for about 2 months with only 2 weeks of consistent use. It’s still brand new, in perfect condition yet it simply doesn't work. I really wanted to love this keyboard. It’s aesthetically pleasing to look at and feels incredibly satisfying to type…at least when it’s working. It has 3 modes: Bluetooth, wired and 2.4G via tiny usb. I can’t believe ALL 3 MODES ARE BROKEN. On 2.4G I’m getting random keys stuck as I’m typing. They’re not “physically” stuck but the keyboard just decides to not move on from some keys as I’m typing. An absolute nightmare. On Bluetooth some keys that are pressed don’t actually go through. My typing speed is not even that fast for it to be doing this. My PC Bluetooth works perfect with every other device. That’s already enough for me to give up on it but I enjoy the satisfying key press sounds so much that I wanted to give it one last try with the wired mode. The wire is pretty long so you can be far from your connected device…but BOTH USB AND USB-C DO THE SAME THING AS BLUETOOTH, THEY REFUSE TO REGISTER ALL THE KEYS I PRESS. I don’t know how it’s possible for every mode to be broken but that’s my experience unfortunately. Maybe I got unlucky because I’m only seeing good reviews, maybe the good reviews are fake, idk but I suggest you don’t waste your time on this keyboard.

Probably the best out of box keyboard I have ever used. See bottom for list of considerations. People usually have to heavily mod a keyboard to get them to sound deep, have less rattle, reduce metal pingy noises or scratchiness. Not with this one. Pros: - Great, deep, thocky sound - Well lubed switches. No real pingy noises - Best stabilizers. Extremely little, to no rattle on keys - No software downloads needed. Changes to keys are made online - 3 ways to connect. Bluetooth, wireless, and wired - Hot swappable - Typing feels amazing* - They are often on display! Go in store and try them! *Things to consider: 1 - All plastic 2 - Little loud for an office 3- Not hall effect 4 - Linear switches 5 - Short shift key 1- Everything is plastic. Quality of the plastic is NOT the issue though. It's the weight for me. Since it is very light weight, I found myself sliding this keyboard all over the place. 2 - This is NOT a quiet keyboard. Great sound, but not silent, that's for sure. 3 - Not hall effect. It's the "next big thing". This keyboard does not have it. Just a future proofing feature. Not a deal breaker for most. 4 - Linear switches. Great for gaming, a little less so for typing. Linear switches have no bump to tell you when a key is actuating. The keys go straight to the bottom. If you didn't know, you might not have even noticed. 5 - Short Shift key. Silly, but this was the deal breaker for me. If you have never used a short shift key, you might not like it. I found myself hitting the up arrow WAY too often. Do not let my personal preferences dissuade you. If you read the list on considerations and said, meh, sounds like a you problem, then get it. It's a great keyboard.

I recently bought the Keychron V1 Ultra 8K from Best Buy and I’m seriously impressed. The red switches feel smooth and quiet enough for everyday use, but still give that satisfying mechanical feedback. Typing is super comfortable and fast, and gaming feels really responsive thanks to the high polling rate. The build quality is excellent – it feels solid, not cheap at all. I also love the compact 75% layout because it gives me all the keys I need without taking up my whole desk. The programmable ZMK software is a nice bonus if you like customizing keys. Overall, this keyboard looks great, sounds great, and performs even better. If you’re thinking about it, just go for it!
