About this product
With their fourth album InchCosmocratorInch, Khnvm are entering a downward spiral into the abyss of the human experience. The death metal brainiacs explore the crossroads of psychology, philosophy, and spirituality. The album title InchCosmocratorInch carries a dual significance. It symbolises the InchRuler of the WorldInch and, within religious vocabulary, also stands for InchSatanInch. This reflects the album's exploration of common phenomena, expressed through an adrenaline-fueled artistic lens. With the thought-provoking lyrics and harsh yet to the point musicality of InchCosmocratorInch, Khnvm promise not to just deliver on musical terms but also to captivate those who are drawn to complex narratives and philosophical depth. Khnvm are a death metal band that has walked the line between old school death metal and contemporary influences without stumbling. Fronted by Bangladeshi-born guitarist and vocalist Obliterator, the band was founded and is firmly based in Germany. When Khnvm entered the scene with their debut album InchForetold Monuments of FleshInch on Testimony Records in 2019, they were immediately met with acclaim both from critics and fans alike. In the wake of the second album, InchPortals to OblivionInch (2021), Khnvm began to perform live. Meanwhile, Khnvm have toured, entered stages at many festivals, and played headliner and support shows across Europe. With InchCosmocratorInch, Khnvm offer a dual approach The easy way is to enjoy the album simply for it's outstanding musical merit. Yet there is also the far more winding path to take with it's intricate lyrics and rich thoughts to be analysed, explored, and discussed for many years to come - and new meanings to be found as well as discoveries of fresh ideas to be made with each new turn! Album Tracks 1. Purgatorial Pyre 2. Fetid Eden 3. Mercurial Remnants 4. Fathomless Enigma 5. Cosm

Khanate's self titled debut (2001) has all the pleasant ambiance of a plane crash site, a bleak urban waste of mangled and torn metal beams and hissed alarms. When Khanate first issued instructions to the void in 2001, the band was embraced as the next iteration of guitarist Stephen O'Malley's tube-cracking forays into amplifier variance; a fascinating further step of vocalist Alan Dubin and low-frequency shifter James Plotkin's space charts; and a warning forthe crawling-pace hammers of Tim Wyskida's drums. But Khanate was not preaching of coming doom or offering emotional catharsis. The band was totally post-dread. The worst had already happened, and would continue to happen, over and over. The 5 songs on Khanate sound like an Inchorchestrated root canalInch (Julian Cope). Album Tracks 1. Pieces of Quiet 2. Skin Coat 3. Torching Koroviev 4. Under Rotting Sky 5. No Joy

A grand spiritual celebration of heavy metal, a concept album framed as a ritual of musical freedom that starts with the pounding rhythms of InchInvocation of the DreamerInch and culminates with the starlit exaltation of InchBenediction Tones.Inch Album Tracks 1. Invocation of the Dreamer 2. Corpsebloom Garden 3. Grief's Reverie 4. Beneath the Scythe 5. Gilded Chambers 6. Tomb of Roses 7. Carrion King 8. Benediction Tones

Montréal's Phobocosm continue their career-spanning collaboration with Dark Descent Records with third full-length Foreordained. Foreordained is an amalgamation of everything that came before it. A perfectly balanced fusion of the murky death metal depravity of debut Deprived, blended with the devastating doom of Bringer Of Drought. Remarkably, this was the plan all along InchWhen we wrote Deprived, we decided that our first three albums would be a trilogy, so Foreordained is the last chapter of that trilogy. We made a conscious effort to pace all three albums in a similar manner, since we wanted them to be linked-starting with a slow, crushing doom song and concluding with a long, epic, depressive one. It's not a coincidence,Inch reveals guitarist Samuel Dufour. As their genre of choice would suggest, Foreordained's lyrical concepts are about death, as well as the futility of denying one's inherent mortality. Hence the name of the album; meaning predestined, inevitable InchSince death is unavoidable, the end of all life and of our planet is also unavoidable, so there are apocalyptic themes also. The closer 'For an Aeon' is about a possible way the world as we know it could end.Inch Wrapped in artwork by the inimitable Lauri Laaksonen of Desolate Shrine, Convocation and Pestilent Hex fame, Foreordained is set to be a 2024 death metal highlight. Album Tracks 1. 1. Premonition 2. 2. Primal Dread 3. 3. Everlasting Void 4. 4. Infomorph 5. 5. Revival 6. 6. for An Aeon
