I purchased this unit to go along with a 10” Kicker subwoofer. It works great! Setup is always a challenge for car audio, but in this case the clear instructions helped make it a straightforward process. The amp is easy to adjust with its frequency and loudness adjustments. I have had this unit installed in my 1979 Toyota Corolla a while now and it has never let me down. It provides plenty of power to the subwoofer and allows me to feel the thump of the bass as I drive - even over a loud exhaust system.

I had this amp installed the other day with the 12’ down firing sub from Kicker. It sounds amazing and delivers great bass. The amp was installed under my front passenger seat and you can’t even notice it’s there. There is a big difference from hearing the demo audio system in the store than from hearing it in my car. I 100% recommend

I like that this little buddy complete my spectations, last month I have installed on my VW JETTA MKVI trendline version with a Pioneer car radio and kicker subwoofer COMPR @2ohms, this gadget makes that my sound feel great with real 400 RMS power and no distortion Bass, great quality on this components!!!, I couldn’t any dislike to this product until now , I would like to thank the seller Sean for the support offered!!!

Great amp to drive a single 10 woofer (massive audio shallow mount). Have this in a Tacoma for my daughter and it sounds great! Its compact in size to fit under a bench seat in a standard cab without compromise to power. Highly recommend.

Kicker has been a great brand for decades and are still on it. This little amp pushes my bridged SVC 12" sub easily. I haven't tried it with a DVC and don't really feel the need to. For my application this amp is perfect! It's small (to fit in the recess in my trunk) and powerful. Do yourself a service and get this one instead of a cheapo. You won't regret it.

Bought this to be paired with a 10" Kicker CompC sub in a Metra sub box as an entry level sub system for my PT Cruiser. I mounted the amp to the side of the sub box with ease. I have been continually surprised by how much of a powerful punch this amp is able to provide. This is the second amplifier in my system, as I currently have a four channel amp hidden under the passenger seat for the speakers and this amp drivers my sub. This amp has always got enough power, and would supply a bigger 12" CompR with ease. My next upgrade will be to switch to dual 12" CompR's and stick with this amp to drive it.

The amplifier has exceeded my expectations with it’s delivery of low end frequencies and over all performance. My friends and neighbors had commented on the awesome sound of my new HD system that augments the amazing low end with this amplifier. The ten inch sub woofer really brings out the full low end frequency response that comes from this kicker amplifier.

I picked this Kicker CXA400.1 mono amplifier to power a Kicker CompC 10" subwoofer I have mounted in the trunk of my 2017 Honda Civic EX Sedan. This amp works fantastic and puts out lots of power. I had a Best Buy installer install the amp along with the sub. I really like how they mounted the amplifier and it fitted in the left hand corner of the trunk real nicely. This makes for a nice upgrade from stock. I did buy the Kicker Bass Knob (Model: 46CXARC) to control the amount of bass.

Works great pushes my highs and subs fits perfectly under the seat out the way and snuggled with the brackets in the base. The 10inch sub kicker compC is perfect fit.

Two 6.5 subs installed in a Rockville dual sub box. It promptly fried two Lanzar parallel wired 6.5" woofers. As the woofers bit the dust "breaking it down' on Baby Bash so did the Kicker amp. Most amps simply shut off and reset. Not the kicker. For what I paid for this 400 I could have got two Boss 1500s. Which subsequently I purchased and only need one! No wonder mobile audio doesn't offer a warranty. For $170 which is premium dollars this is the most highly rated and expensive amp in it's class. For that price a warranty should be lifetime.

Good bang for your buck. Does great for my purposes. Runs a 8" kicker comp r sub.
