About this product
Vinyl LP pressing. 2020 , a solo acoustic album from The Melvins' King Buzzo. This is exciting news! What makes this news even more exciting is that King Buzzo has recorded this record with the fabulously talented bass player Trevor Dunn. Trevor was a founding member of Mr. Bungle and also plays bass in the psycho metal/spaghetti western band Fantômas, as well as recording and touring with the Melvins (as Melvins Lite). The addition of Trevor's stand-up bass makes Gift of Sacrifice a step up from King Buzzo's last acoustic record, This Machine Kills Artists. It gives this new record a haunted quality which drives the songs to a new level. Another new element is the addition of modular synth, which adds it's own angular sounds to the acoustic guitar and bass. This is an odd combination of sounds not heard before on an all acoustic record.

Vinyl LP pressing. There's a sense of wonder that permeates throughout every song indie rock band Hey, King! Has written. Canadian songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Natalie London and her partner, Tucson, AZ vocalist and percussionist Taylor Plecity, approach music with a childlike curiosity and adventurous spirit-fitting for a band whose name comes from a Where the Wild Things Are line. Their 2020 debut EP Be Still was raved by Under the Radar Mag as Inchheartfelt indie rockInch with songs that showcased InchLondon and Plecity's ability to turn tragedy into an exuberant celebration of life and love.Inch But now, the band finally follows it all up with their highly-anticipated self-titled debut LP. Produced by 4x Grammy winner Ben Harper, Hey, King! #is a dazzling 11-track collection that matches the overwhelming emotional intensity of the band's live show, a concert experience that Vancouver Weekly called Incha powerhouseInch and Inchquite possibly the music world's best kept secret.Inch

This on-going tour box series continues the opportunity to present King Crimson's music in slightly unexpected ways and, hopefully, to shed some new light on the band and it's music along the way. For this 2021 compilation, and perhaps appropriately for a band that has sported a three drummer line-up seated at the front of the stage since 2014, disc one features tracks which showcase KC's rich history of drummers and percussionists, while Sid Smith's liner notes also focus on the drummers. Disc 2 take a slightly more song based detour through all eras of Crim history ending, as concerts have since 2014, with Starless. Both discs feature plenty of historic material and lots of live material by the current band and both also feature a sneak exclusive track/edit from the forthcoming, much anticipated, Robert Fripp InchExposuresInch multi-disc boxed set.
