Got this to install for OS on my new build PC in Ryzen 9 7950X AM5 PC / 32 GB DDR5-6000 RAM ASUS ProArt X670E Creator WIFI ATX Motherboard Using this as a boot drive Drive shows up in BIOS as M.2_1: Kingston SFYRD2000G Installed Win10Pro, and had absolutely no problems, but this easily can be a data drive as well if you need the speed (which is very close to WD_Black SN950X), which I also purchased separately elsewhere. This one, however, does not have the hefty heatsink option available like the new WD Black SN850X, which was the reason I decided to install in the PC and opting to use the WD_Black to put in PS5. it has a heatsink which easily piggybacks onto the motherboard's own beefy NVme heatsink, so there's no reason to worry about heat in a PC setting. The SSD obviously runs at Gen 4 speeds as Gen 5 drive isn't available yet, but it is plenty fast for what I need. The other thing I should mention is I bought this around Thanksgiving "Black Friday Price" with a price match, so let's just say I paid way less than whatever MSRP is at this time. If you can take advantage of using this in PCIe Gen 4 system -- by all means do it.
