A: Hello SusieQ. The interior depth is 14 inches, the interior height is 7 inches, and the interior width is 18 7/8 inches for this KitchenAid® Microwave.
A: It can be installed over a built-in wall oven, or ovens, as long as there is 3" distance from the wall oven and the lower cutout for the microwave. This is from the installation instructions. I think the previous answer is referring to installing over a cooktop, which this microwave is not made for. You would think KitchenAid would have some reasonably knowledgeable people responsible for answering customer questions.

Well designed low profile microwave!
This low profile microwave is wonderful! It is quiet, easy to operate and heats perfectly! The lower interior height is a non-issue for our family. It is as wide and deep as our previous over the range microwave. It easily accommodates casserole dishes and tall coffee mugs. The door closes with a quiet, solid sound. A well designed and highly functional appliance by Kitchenaid!

Slim and can be frustrating
I love the look of this microwave but it is slim on height. Also if you put your food in it and close the door you forget to put the time cook on. The buttons are on the inside and the outside just has the quick 30 sec cook button.
