Cleans well. Plenty of space inside for a variety of items. Third rack is very convenient and adds extra space to dishwasher. Quiet. Easy to use.

We bought this to replace a 25 year old Maytag dishwasher. I love how quite this runs. I love the 3rd shelf for small items. Dishes are clean. We don't use the drying feature, but dishes are almost all dry just from the air circulation feature. would buy again.

Love this dishwasher. Cleans very well. I collect handmade pottery so all are different sizes and it fits everything very well. The third rack is actually functional and I use it all the time. Second rack holds everything great and didn't break any glasses while washing. (Last LG did.) Quiet. Ditched the silverware sorter, who has time for that. Cleans silverware well. Yes, it is pricey but it works great.

Dish washer has plenty of room for dirty dishes. Operation is quiet. Normal wash cycle is 2 hours and 40 minutes. Dishes come out clean. There is an express wash but I have not tried it yet.

-1 star cause installer said wouldn’t fit and had to return. Otherwise awesome Had to return cause installer said there was no way it would fit under my cabinet/countertop. I didn’t want to take the chance, so I cancelled the order. Went to a competitors store and they didn’t think it would be a problem. The second store was right. Fit just fine with no trouble at all. Yes, I made sure it was the same model number, and it is the one with the new improved 3rd rack design. Dishwasher itself is super quiet and gets dishes clean. Replaced a 9yr old GE Profile that was loud and left food debris on dishes all the time. 3rd rack is very useable. Adjustable 2nd rack is nice. Most the time you can barely tell it’s running unless you’re standing next to it, and even then I sometimes have to look. We really love it, just too bad we had to go somewhere else to finally get it.

So far, this is the best dishwasher ever! Our last one, also a KitchenAid, was super quiet and did a great job, so we looked at KitchenAid again. The third top rack is a game changer! It's not flat like some others so is much more versatile--holds glasses at an angle so water doesn't collect on top, and holds long spatulas and mixing spoons that don't fit in the silverware holder. It's very quiet and efficient. Love the heated drying with a fan. Got a good deal at Best Buy and hope it lasts many years.

I have a 26 yr old home and all appliances are less than 5 yrs old after replacement buy my Maytag dishwasher was going strong after all these years. I finally replaced it after my research for a couple years showed a preferred DW was on a great sale. So I bought this and I couldn't be more happy. It is so damned quiet you can barely hear is standing next to it. It drys everything including plastics and the 3rd rack so so deep it is amazing. I totally recommend this DW. It is beautiful and works flawlessly.

I was always so frustrated that my dishes never seemed clean. I changed detergents many times trying to find something that really worked. "Luckily", my 3 yr old dishwasher went out. I did my research and explored options. My husband and I own a plumbing company and install a lot of "higher" end brands, which i will not name. My husband leaned that way just becuz so many nicer high class homes bought the brand. I questioned sales people....read reviews....compared features...and went with Kitchen Aid. So glad I voiced MY opinion. My dishes have NEVER been so clean (even without pre-cleaning)! I love the stainless steele tub and esp the 3rd rack! The racks on other brands seem very generic but this one is great! Its also very quiet! Never been this happy with a dishwasher!

I initially purchased a different brand dishwasher that had a manufacturing fault and had to be replaced. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I'm pleased with the appearance, design, quiet run cycles and performance of my new KitchenAid

Bought this dishwasher because it doesn’t have a filter that you have to take out and clean. The dishwasher cleans very well and has three trays for loading. It is very quiet while running.

I've owned quite a few dishwashers in my life, but this one is definitely the best! It is so quiet that I found myself confirming I had started it in the first few weeks of use. This particular model has an actually useful third rack for not only knives, but other small items. Also, the buttons used to lower and raise the middle rack are sturdier than in so many other dishwashers I've owned. Lastly, I waited a bit for this model to go on sale for $900, which saved me a few hundred dollars. If I could change anything, it would be having an option to add a dry cycle to the Express (1 hour) cycle. Rarely do I use that cycle, but the option would be nice to have.

Unit is whisper quiet, holds twice as much as our previous unit. Dishes come out really clean. top rack accomodates trays well. Sleek control design. Performs above and beyond expectation. Love the utensil holder.

Our last dishwasher was 20+ years old so this is a big step up for us. Very quiet and does an excellent job cleaning the dishes which were the two most important features. We like the racking which seemed more robust compared to the Bosch models we were also considering. Wasn't sure I'd like the controls on top of the door, but being taller it's great. Only thing I'd say negative is the wash cycle for ProWash/ProDry is long. We have a household of 2 most of the year and 3 in the summer months so not a deal breaker.

I am really happy with this dishwasher. I’ve had kitchenaid quiet dishwashers for a very long time, but this is definitely the quietest. It cleans everything perfectly with no pod smell left afterwards. I did have to move the middle rack down a notch to hold taller things on it, and unlike earlier versions where one side of a rack can be higher than the other, both sides now have to be on the same level notch. I really like the 3 racks for extra room. The only part I’m not thrilled with is the top rack right side, which really can’t hold anything but skinny regular or cooking utensils, which I’d normally put other places in the dishwasher anyway. I love the drying too - does a great job! Naturally plastic bowls sometimes aren’t completely dry, but it’s better than dishwashers I’ve had before.

My dishwasher leaked and needed to be replaced. I immediately started looking for a replacement and did hours of research. Ended up going with this one. Best Buy price matched which was helpful. The dishwasher is a dream! Amazing performance. It is super quiet. Love the third rack on this. It is so much more than just a drawer. It is a true additional rack. The finger print resistant finish is great. The machine dries anything you throw at it. We are very happy with our purchase and will consider kitchen aid for future appliance needs as well. And it is made in America!

Our dishes are clean! We upgraded from a dishwasher where we had to hand wash and put through a cycle and they still came out gritty and greasy. Now that we have this Kitchenaid we spend half the time prepping dishes. They go through one cycle and come out spotless. It’s super quiet and you can hardly hear it running. I love the countdown feature on the top lip and on the front that indicate how much time is left. You can walk by anytime and know just what’s remaining. We never thought we’d use 3 racks, but we’ve used it almost every day since. And when we don’t, it comes out really easy if we have a bunch of tall items to wash. Our two sons have also realized it they take out the top rack, one of them can load it up while the other loads the main racks. Then they just put it back in when time to wash. We are very satisfied.

This dishwasher has checked all the boxes, and we couldn't be happier with a "needed" purchase than this Kitchen Aid unit. The sleek and modern design, the three adjustable racks, the various modes of wash and drying, and the ease of operability. Our family uses this washer daily, and though it has only been a month of use, we are more than pleased with the performance. Kitchen Aid is a brand we have owned throughout the years, and we have not had any issues (knock on wood) with our units to date, so there is no reason to think this will be an exception. If you are looking for a good machine that will adjust to your family's dining habits, that looks great in any kitchen or bar area, and is easy to use, I highly recommend this appliance.

The KitchenAid Top Control Built-In Dishwasher is a standout appliance that combines sleek design with powerful functionality. Its top control panel offers a clean look while providing easy access to various wash cycles and options. With excellent cleaning performance, adjustable racks for versatile loading, and quiet operation, it's a reliable choice for any kitchen. However, i wish the the drying performance was a little more efficient compared to the Ge i had. Overall, it's a dependable dishwasher that efficiently handles daily loads with style and effectiveness.

This is by far the best dishwasher I have ever had! It does a fantastic job cleaning dirty dishes. I have not pulled out a dirty dish yet and I have owned this dishwasher for almost 2 months (keep in mind I do not prewash my dishes before loading them). Another great feature of this dishwasher is it is very quiet. I love the fact when it is done, the front says clean sanitize. I am still adjusting to the 3rd (top) rack. Of all the 3rd Rack Dishwashers available I like the layout of this one the best. A slight disadvantage of the 3rd rack is that it eliminates space on the other two racks. The second rack does not adjust as high and there are limits on taller items fitting on the bottom due to this.

Replaced a 15 year old high end dishwasher (other brand) that I never liked from day 1. It went out again and we decided to get a new one. Did some research and this Kitchenaid model rated high. I installed it myself - the instructions were very well written and easy to follow. We tried out the power wash setting first with some pots and coffee travel mugs that had caked on coffee that never came clean. They came out almost like new. The top third rack is the largest I’ve seen and you can put actual glasses and small bowls there rather than just flatware. It’s quiet as a church mouse too. Love the controls being located on top. Clean look. My wife is so happy she named it (like people do their cars). Could not be happier and it was a great price for what you get. Highly recommend.
