After fighting with ge over a microwave we said we are replacing everything in the wall. We had a single oven with a microwave over it. I am so glad we cut out the wall more and put in this double oven! Easy to use, looks nice and lots of space. Have used it a lot in the past few weeks and worked great for thanksgiving!

I love my KitchenAId Double Oven. It replaced my 20 year old KitchenAid Double Oven. It is more updated looking and fits like a glove into the cabinetry that held the previous Double Oven. The oven works great. KitchenAid makes great products!

Great double oven. Would recommend this to everyone. Food cooks to perfection inside ver big to make multiple dishes. I am satisfied and waited a long time to cut my time in the kitchen in half preparing and cooking all food for my big family .

This unit replaced a 25 year old KitchenAid double oven. It was “vintage” - had no dials, no convection, or any other modern function. The Rapid preheat really works, 450 in under 10 minutes!

Installed the item and it came on with a fault. Contacted Best Buy who gave me the Whirlpool Contact number. They sent out a local repairman who troubleshot it and now has a control board on order. When we get to use the stove we will rate it then. Delivery crew did an excellent job getting item into house. We had a local electricitan install it because had to have new circuit breaker and wiring installed due to 40 amp rating.

Multiple design issues with this oven, and any oven containing the Copernicus control module cannot perform the basic task of controlling the oven temp. Design issues: temperature swing of plus/minus 25 degrees around a setpoint used to be the norm with mechanical thermostat based ovens. Modern digital controls should have much tighter tolerances. Oven setpoint of 350 oF produces an average temp in one oven of 325 and in the other oven about 380 oF. Temperature sensors are accurate so the control module does not perform correctly. At one point the upper oven temp sensor read 406 oF while trying to control to 350 oF. This was after 45 minutes of operation. There is no reason for modern digital controls to respond this poorly. To remove the oven temperature sensor, you have to remove the heating element. When reinstalling the element there is a good possibility that the element will short to the chassis (this was performed by certified Whirlpool tech), requiring pulling the oven from the wall to correct. I am a test engineer, and was a lead facility engineer for a thermal test lab. I am adequately qualified to make the above statements. Customer support has been abysmal. 4 visits to date, and Kitchenaid senior engineer now is requesting replacing the control board and sensors...again. This has been going on since I purchased the unit in late October.
