My old range had 4 burners, this one has 5. All of the burners heat at whatever temperature that you set it at. It is very easy to clean, unlike the old one that i had. Also, the large burners are nice to have.

We really like our new KitchenAid cooktop that replaced a 24 year old KitchenAid cooktop that worked fine but we wanted a new one as part of the kitchen remodel. One problem. The countertop cut out instructions provided by KitchenAid were confusing and the installer thought the cut out was wrong but in the end he was able to install our new cooktop. There were a few sleepless nights until it was all worked out.

Very nice cooktop. Heats up quick and looks great.

After 1 time normal reasonable use, the surface bubbled up in spots around the burner. After following proper cleaning instructions, the spots did not come out. My 20 year old former cooktop was in better shape than this one after 1 use.

I used that. It is used good we love and show more for someone use it

The cooktop is great in every way, but two. The first thing that annoys me is the electrical hum it makes while on. The second is the seal tape provided by the manufacturer is a joke. The important part is that it cooks well.

Love my new Kitchenaid cooktop. Heats up very fast and evenly. Looks great against my new countertops. Easy to clean and maintain.

The cooktop is awesome! It looks really nice and it does a great job in cooking food. We upgraded from a GE and it has been nothing but a beauty!

KitchenAid 36” electric cooktop replaces another one I had for 10 years. I like the stainless steel rim as opposed to the lip on the previous KitchenAid electric cooktop. The ultra hot burner is great for heating up water for pasta, rice or hard boiled eggs. Downside with this model are the knobs and the location of them. My previous cooktop did not have knobs. It turned on by touching the cooktop. Hard to clean with knobs. Best Buy staff in West Windsor is superb!

great product great looks easy to clean I recommended it

Bought this to replace a 20 year old KitchenAid glass cooktop (36"). I would have thought it would be an exact fit, but it was not. This was just 1/4" too large to drop in to our granite counter opening. The glass also shows smudges and is harder to clean than our old model, and it is harder to see the size of the cooking elements to determine which one to use.

IT's Ok only with this price because there is only one light to remind you.

Had 2 of them installed, both scratched very easily after gentle use, and great care on the first use. Would not recommend if you do not care for very visible scratches on your glass cooktop.

Replaced a 20 year old cooktop with this one. Has a lot of options to cook. Debated about having a gas cooktop but decided on this as the smooth top rather than the grates on gas one. It has clean, flat appearance that I preferred.

LOVE this gorgeous sleek black cooktop. Love the larger burners in the back and smaller burners in the front. Also like the knobs instead of digital push button controls.

Price/function is right on the money. Where this range suffers is the inability to accurately select a desired temperature on the multi-size burners. They also make cleanup harder. Having said that, the controls are far simpler to operate than the touch controls on the predecessor.
