    Happy Chef @ Home!!

    Finally! My husband got his Artisan Series 5 he is beyond exited. He loves to cook for his family and friends. We are blessed to have our own chef at home!! Got the ice cream attachment and he is thrilled to use!! Thank you! He made us our own homemade loaf of bread, and let me tell ya!! It was delicious:)

    GREAT MIXER AND MORE!!!

    MY WIFE WANTED ONE, BECAUSE HER SISTERS HAVE ONE. SO I GOT HER ONE PLUS A SHREDDER TOO. I HAVE USED IT. GREAT FOR HASH BROWN POTATOES AND DOING CHEESE. WE LOVE IT. I ALSO PURCHASED ONE FOR MY DAUGHTER. SHE AND MY OLDEST GRANDDAUGHTER LOVE IT. I PLAN TO GET MORE ATTACHMENTS. I WISH WE HAD ONE YEARS AGO.

    Love this mixer!

    So much nicer than a handmixer! Had to have one after watching so many cooks use it on the Food Network. The beater, bowl, and machine all lock in place. You won't use high often.

    Well built workhorse of a mixer

    Well built workhorse of a mixer! I have had mine since 1985 and have used it several times a week for all of those years. I bought one for each of my daughters and bought this one for a wedding gift for my extended family. This is a product you rarely have to replace and he has lots of wonderful attachments you can purchase.

    HI Jesica, The 120 volt (U.S.) appliances are not compatible with 220/240 volt requirements of other countries (as well as vice versa). What many consumers are not aware of is the potential danger that differences in cycles/second can create. Where in the United States electricity is delivered at 60 Hertz (Hz), most other countries deliver the electricity at 50 Hz. Running 60 Hz appliances in a 50 Hz environment forces the motor in your appliance to run at a slower speed, and can potentially cause immediate motor or operational failure. Not only is this failure not covered by any manufacturer's warranty, but has been known to result in electrical shortages and/or fires. Additionally, KitchenAid does not recommend the use of a transformer for any KitchenAid countertop appliance. Doing so could cause damage to your appliance or the home electrical system, as noted above.
