Light weight but powerful! Whips up thick shakes and malts quickly. Purées salsas nicely, I don’t have to get my big blender out for a small batch. So easily cleaned. Guard keeps my pans from getting nicked.

I had never used a hand blender before and it was somewhat of an impulse buy so I was a little concerned it wouldn't work efficiently and would spray all over and make a mess. Turns out I love it! Mostly I use it to make smoothies and soups. It doesn't spray, cleans easily, blends contents quickly and food comes out just the way I like it. Takes up less room on kitchen counter than a big blender. Probably a cordless one would be nice but corded is less expensive and works fine.
