About this product
With major influence firmly rooted in the darker hardcore scene of the 1990's and a decidedly modern, sludgy grit, KITE_band]] brings us an album that can only be described as intuitive, raw, and honest with an alarmingly authentic brilliance. Hot on the heels of last year's lauded full lengthInchIrradience,Inch KITE now unleash InchCurrents,Inch a boundlessly accomplished, monolithic cacophony of lusciously ascetic intrigue. With minimal postproduction and no use of pedals whatsoever, Kite turn their amps up to the max to achieve soaring peaks of malevolently melodious anguish cut by destabilizing valleys of rasping vocals which thrust the listener into a beguilingly bleak and gloomy shadow world of eerie sonic intensity. Simplicity is not a word that can be employed here except for the fact that the music coming from Kite is truly without airs or braggadocio but is instead an acerbically plush, richly discordant, and deeply rewarding listen. Completely gripping and filled with breathless moments of gut churning rumble, their new single InchTurbulenceInch is streaming now on all platforms.

2015 , the highly anticipated third full length album from the much loved Australian band. Currents is the follow up to 2012's Lonerism. Kevin Parker, the musician behind Tame Impala, explained that Currents is about the process of personal transformation. He said, InchIt follows the progression of someone feeling like they are becoming something else. They're becoming the kind of person they thought they'd never become.Inch The cover art for Currents was created by Kentucky-based artist and musician Robert Beatty. Parker has said Currents' designs are based on a diagram of vortex shedding he remembered while trying to visualize the album's themes. Includes the single 'Let It Happen'.

CURRENTS / ALL THAT FOLLOWS - Controlling chaos by hand, Currents balance invention and innate intensity on their new EP InchAll That FollowsInch. Especially strong, the quintet's closing track InchRise & FallInch revolves around propulsive drums, a riff call-and-response and a hook that holds onto the vestiges of a crumbling institution before asking a final query How will this end? With sold out shows and 100M streams, for Currents, the only answer is upwards. EXPLICIT
