Even more than with a band, the creative work of a solo artist is the direct and unadulterated reflection of recent experiences, a mirror of the soul, an undiluted reaction to their current life situation. This formula has always applied to German electronic music artist, composer and producer Klaus Schulze. The astonishing number of albums recorded and released by him is virtually impossible to pinpoint (experts estimate the number of releases featuring Schulze to be at least 200, but more probably 500). Shadowlands contains five tracks of mind expanding explorations into space and loads of calming tranquility. The epic title track opts for more menace, and will remind some of the early Tangerine Dream material, complete with ominous synth and Mellotron sounds. Album Tracks 1. Shadowlights 1. The album InchTonwelleInch was released in 1981 as a vinyl under the artist name Richard Wahnfried, feat. among others, Manuel Göttsching (Ash Ra Tempel) and Michael Shrieve (Santana). The now released vinyl edition contains the 45 RPM version - newly mastered from an original mint vinyl that has never been played.

Megatone is the third studio album by Klaus Schulze's side project, Richard Wahnfried, released in 1984. On this album, Schulze collaborates with Michael Garvens, Axel-Glenn Müller, Ulli Schober, Michael Shrieve and Harald Katzsch. During the eighties, the German synth legend Klaus Schulze pursued his solo adventure, working at the same time for his Wahnfried project. This InchMegatoneInch brings something new to his usual Inchkosmische musikInch. A new element appears once again after the classic InchTime ActorInch; the presence of a singer (Michael Garvens). The voice appears in the modern and InchmechanicalInch electronic piece called «Angry Young BoysInch. Schulze synth explorations are also sustained by guitar parts & sequencers, drum- machines. This vast & epic cosmic InchtripInch mixes pure atmospheric realms (the synth strings) with perpetual, repetitive drum rhythms. InchMegatoneInch is a deep electronic album but not as abstract or as meditative as before.
