KMFDM - Hau Ruck 2025 - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Vinyl LP pressing. 2020 . In the seven years since Aloe Blacc's (the voice and collaborator on Avicii's worldwide smash hits 'Wake Me Up' and 'SOS') last album, Lift Your Spirit, the global superstar spent time working on an even dearer project his family. All Love Everything the singer-songwriter's first collection of material written as a father, a journey that's expanded Blacc's already heartfelt artistic palette. The listeners who have followed Aloe Blacc over the course of his 14-years-long career know that his facility with language and sound is deep - if anyone was up to the task, it's him.

2024 . KMFDM is doin' it again, celebrating 40 years of conceptual continuity! LET GO marks the group's 23rd studio album, with the core lineup of Sascha Käpt'n K Konietzko, Lucia Cifarelli, Andy Selway, & Andee Blacksugar presenting an onslaught of pulse-pounding rhythms, scorching electronics, blistering guitars, & vocals full of grit, growl, & grind addressing the social, political, & cultural ills of a world in perpetual turmoil. As stylistically diverse as ever, KMFDM bridges the gaps between genres, coalescing into what we know & love as the Ultra Heavy Beat!

Vinyl LP pressing. Hailing from the northern California town of Davis, Thin White Rope was unfathomably pegged as a proponent of the paisley underground movement. The songs the group covered over the course of their ten-year career is far more revealing Suicide, The Stooges, Lee Hazlewood, Marty Robbins, Can, and Roky Erickson have all been rendered by the band in the studio and on-stage. That list goes a long way in explaining the mixture of raw, angular riffs, southern twang, and psychedelia. Originally released in 1988, In The Spanish Cave was Thin White Rope 's third album, following their critically-acclaimed second long player, Moonhead. While for many people Moonhead remains the band's masterpiece and most coherently realized album, it's an angry and intense record that takes a few listens to really penetrate and appreciate. In contrast, In The Spanish Cave has more light and shade and a much wider musical palette, and while Kyser's worldview remains dark verging on paranoiac, the album is perhaps a more rounded representation of the band's unique talents. Frontier Records has digitally remastered Thin White Rope's first five records for LP and CD, and is reissuing them on vinyl for the first time in decades.
